Each settlement has a safe zone and a quarantine zone,
The safe zones are protected by human and alien volunteers. Occasionally zombies will get into the safe zone. And yes there are already zombies in the safe zone.
Inside the safe zone are the following,
Medical Bay
Education District (To teach the youngsters the basics of fighting off zombies)
Shopping District (Where humans and aliens go to get their food.)
Housing Sector (Basically is one big room where everyone sleeps, there is safety in numbers)
Daycare (If you want your child to stay safe, I would recomend signing them up for this. It is one of the most defended areas on the entire planet. Human and alien children ages 0-10 go here)
The Quarantine zone is where most of the zombies, in the settlement are.
