Comit yowled when he saw his love dragged into that horrible place.

Fang woke up inside a metal fence. She got up, but her legs were too weak and she quickly fell. She had heard stories about dogs who went in and never came out.

Comit sneaked inside. He saw Fang and lowered his belly to the ground, hoping she would notice him.

Fang looked up. "Comet?" she croaked, her voice still drowsy from the drugs. Fang thought she was dreaming, besides there was no hope. She'd heard enough stories and learned enough from city life that only the strong survive. "Comet... leave without me." she whispered.

"Fang, I love you, if you die, I'll die with you." With that Comet went over to the guard desk, barked and showed his teeth, hoping it would be enough, but the guard went to go get something. Anyways Comet quickly grabbed the metal little thing that he had dreamed of last night and put into the little hole, he then turned it. THe guard was coming so he quickly nudged Fang, made her get up and then went over to the guard and lied down, using the cutest puppy eyes you have ever seen. He then tried to tell Fang to do the same with his tail.

Fang did as Comet signaled, without enthusiasm. She felt as if there was no hope. She felt terrible, but Comet made her feel better, though she didn't know why, she never felt this way before.

All of sudden Comet made is move. He jumped up onto his back legs putting his paws on the guards shoulder and then...licked him. It was hard for Comet but did it, he then, while he was still licking, motioned for Fang to run.

Comet noticed Meteor to late he then tried to tell her to run with Fang and he would catch up later.

Fang ran, her instincts told her to keep going, along with her normal attitude, but she skidded to halt a few feet away from the exit and looked back at Comet.

Comet stopped licking the Twoleg and met Fangs gaze, she is so beautiful, he thought. With that he went back to his four legs and ran over to the exit with the guard at his heels, he then felt something shoot him and went to sleep just a few ways off from the exit.....

Comet felt dizzy. Did I die? He asked himself. What happend to me? He then woke up and saw that Meteor was still licking the guard. He dashed off out of the door to talk to Fang.

Kiara saw Fang, she had an idea, she let out a howl of pain and colasped to the ground

Comet looked at little Kiara with surprise. Wondering what could hurt her.

Comet heard Meteor whimper and thought, Why did she deserve that? He pushed his way to the door and slammed it, hoping it would open.

Kiara opened her eyes and howled an alarm, setting off all the dogs in the kennel, making them growl and snap

Fang helped Comet to his paws and Fang crashed through the door.

Kara bust through the doors hearing Kiara's yowl, she busted the cage and ran out the door

"Good thinking!" Comet yowled to Kiara. Comet then attacked the door again and again.

((bye!)) "No, I'm not leaving you!" Comet barked.

"No dog gets left behind, either all or none!" He howled.

Comet followed the black dog. Letting his paws carry him.

Fang was in the pound's courtyard. She looked around, and realized she had went the wrong way.

"What!" Comet barked and ran after Meteor.

Fang ran after Meteor. She looked back and crashed into a wire fence.

Fang looked at the fence.

"Go, save yourself." Fanng insisted.

"No! Go!" Fang growled.

"Go! Please!" Fang growled. The dogcatcher was coming.

"I won't leave you!" Comet barked.

Fang turned around and growled at the dogcatcher. "Just go!"

((I have an idea! Look at the plot stuff!))

Comet looked at Fang, having a feeling he should listen and it was probably the last time he would see her. "I love you." He whispered, locking eyes with her, only loud enough for Fang to hear, and ran off to safety. "Meteor, come on!" He barked/growled.

Fang got caught in the net and was dragged back into the pound, pushed in a cage and left there with no food or water.

Fang lay there. She lay there, thinking about the whispered words, 'I love you'. It had been days, more like mounths since she had seen him. Now she faced the fact that she would never see Comet again. Fang couldn't even remember his sweet face. Finally she stood up, and wagged her tail for the new people coming in. The little girl looked at Fang and pointed to her. The gate opened and a collar was put around her:

They named her Bolt, but secretly she kept her old name. The little girl led her out and into their car. She looked out the window at her old life and they drove into her new life.
