Math Help!
Ugh just had a test today on it which I probably failed. Do you understand interval notation? I'm still confused on that
Oh yeah...
Well.
It's like
Negative number is less than x is less than positive number
As in like absolute value equations?
Well.

As in like functions and I have no clue
Dang it! DOES ANYONE KNOW THE INTERVAL NOTATION OF FUNCTIONS?
What's that???I haven't heard something like that ever.....I am badly bad at Maths and sometimes i go mad on the Questions
a prime factorization is well i dont know.... i should! i learnedit 2 years ago! whim cant i remember!well a prime number is a number that can only have 1 and that number as its factors...
hope that helped! :-{)
π = 3.141592654........................................................

Say you have the number 72.
8 times 9 is 72, so those are two of it's factors. 4 times two is 8 so it's factors are 2 and four. Four can be broken down to 2 and 2
9 can be broken down to 3 and 3
The bold numbers are prime-they don't factors besides themselves and one. Therefore, the prime factorization of 72 is 2,2,2,3,3. It's easier to do on paper- or a factor tree:

Prime factorization of 72 is 2x2x2x3x3 not 2x2 that would be 4. And by the way, I'm Abby and math is my favorite subject!

I am! Interval notations of functions: alright. It's the lowest value (on the graph I presume)
Start with x. What's the lowest x value on the graph? If its an open circle, then it's less than (closed its less than or equal to) then x then is greater than (or equal to) the highest x value on the graph.
If there's an open circle in the middle of the line, write x does not equal (open circle x co-ordinate)
Then repeat for y.
does that help?

B-b-b-b-but how do you SHOW it? I could've sworn that my math teacher said something of brackets and parentheses
That's when you have like -open bracket- x is an element in the reals (x, funny e thing, double r thing, then a line (vertical) then what I said) -close bracket-
This is what I think, but I may be totally wrong ;pp

You just confused me farther (or is it further?)
This sounds crazy, but look up a tutorial on YouTube. It may or may not help, but it's worth a shot.
It's ok just had math and it makes sense now... Thanks for trying though
Can someone explain "Completing the Square"?
OHHHHH! That makes sense! Now I can actually do my homework now!

I was just doing another way of doing my homework up to then, avoiding that step altogether.

Maths is.. Intriguing !As Long as it doesn't become tedious and if it has a repetitive tedium I try to make a computer program out of it !
That clears the concepts well :P
Geeky ?
Hell, yeah !
