Shakespeare Fans discussion

This evening, my husband and I got through 37 Shakespeare plays in under 2 hours -- we went to see The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater (http://www.orlandoshakes.org/plays-ev...). We laughed hysterically the entire time, especially when one actor went a little nuts, refusing to perform Hamlet and held an audience member -- me -- hostage at (plastic) sword point.

It's hard to pick a favorite part of the performance, but the candidates include:

All of the histories narrated as though they were an American football game, including using a crown as a football and calling an illegal play (fictional character) when King Lear is slipped in among the historical kings

and

Hamlet, done backwards, in about 3 minutes

oh, and Titus Andronicus presented as a cooking show.

Except that he WAS a historical king, so the umpires made a bad call.
