Litwit Lounge discussion

Has anyone read any of Marilynn Robinson's books? I've wanted to read Gilead for some time, and Home also looks interesting. Thoughts or comments on her books?

Apparently, Home is a continuation of Gilead although it stands alone. I am barely past P. 40 and all of a sudden, I feel as if it's going to be a great book.

Somewhere past P. 150 and I'm not so sure anymore. I'm having a hard time with the stiff dialogue between the two main characters. However, now that I'm more than halfway through, I feel I have to finish. [image error]
