Claiming your points should look something like this:

BEFORE YOU POST READ THIS:
Please check the leaderboard before you make your FIRST post claiming points to make sure nobody has your name. If somebody does have your name, please put your last initial or something to distinguish yourself. You don't have to change your name for GR but rather every time you post, in addition to your points and all that jazz, put the name that you would like on the leaderboard. Please do this every time you post. We get triples and doubles of SO many names. It took so long to figure out who the heck was who.
Also, please wait until you have finished the WHOLE task before you post it. A lot of people were just posting one book for a 2 book task a month before the other one and then not reposting that book when they actually finished the book.

Halt's Peril (386 pp.) and The Outcasts (434 pp.) by John Flanagan
If you haven't read his Ranger's Apprentice series, I recommend it.
I also finished 15.4 Scavenger Hunt by reading:
Storm Front (352 pp.) by Jim Butcher.
Thank goodness Harry Dresden likes to wear a Cowboy Hat. :)

First task completed! Finished "Light on Snow" by Anita Shreve and "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini for "Winter Blues Wishing for Summer Hues." I'm not entirely sure if A Thousand Splendid Suns fulfill the summer setting part. The book spans over 30 years, so it must cover the summer at some point, right? And in most of the story the weather seems hot and humid. :)Total: 25 points. :)

Glad you liked it. I had never heard of it and read it for my book club. I absolutely loved it; may be my favorite book of the year.
