I have eight published novels including my growing fantasy series at www.frankpryan.com. The Snowmelt River was the John West chosen book for 2010 and The Tower of Bones will be published by Jo Fletcher (Quercus Books) on November 8. I've also written military science fiction (The Doomsday Genie), thrillers and contemporary fiction (Taking Care of Harry).

Fantasy is what I do. I seem to have gotten into a nautical fantasy rut, with a four book series of medieval pirate fantasy, the Scimitar Seas novels, that have won three consecutive gold medals from Forward Reviews, for best novel of the year. Next year, I will have a Pathfinder Tales novel coming out, tentatively titled "Pirate's Honor". Enjoy!

I have an epic fantasy trilogy out called The Tormay Trilogy. Ten years to write the story. Not sure if I win the slowness prize here, but it was worth it. The story is kind of in between Narnia and LOTR in terms of age and feel. The end of October will mark the first tally of the top 30 voted stories. Gatewalker has a VERY good chance of being in the top 10, which means I'd be in the highest payment bracket. All money I make off of this story will go to the artist fund for a new comic book indie creator Mike Murphy and I are writing. Keeping the money in the creative community just feels like the right thing to do, since it's the generosity and goodwill of readers that got me that money in the first place.

So, PLEASE, if you have been considering looking at this story and just haven't gotten around to it, now is the time. Every vote counts and every chapter can be voted for.

The site is set up so that you have to be logged in to read beyond the first chapter of any story. It's still 100% free, and registration is quick and painless. It is a dark tale, but it speaks a deep message that I thought needed be said. That the worst misery anyone can suffer is that of ignorance.

Hi All! I just joined this group and added my books to the bookshelf. My latest is an historical fantasy: Moon Over Donamorgh. Witches, fairies, an Empath, a magical forest, and the conflicts of Ireland all clash on the Irish estate of Donamorgh.
