Her Fearful Symmetry discussion

What book's character names have you had to look up?

Recently I started Her Fearful Symmetry and right about had to look up Marijke which is pronounced Mah RAI ka. I also remember doing it years ago for Hermione, who I still actually call Herminy.

Instead of looking them up for proper pronounciation, do you make up your own version?

I always make up my own. I hate difficult names because my brain stumbles on it everytime; which is so funny since there is no real reason to pronounce it at all unless reading aloud.
