I live in Kilkenny, Ireland. It's small (20,000 people) but has two cathedrals (one Catholic and one Protestant) and a huge castle originally dating from 1195 http://www.kilkennycastle.ie/en/

That's right, Robb. Although Kilkenny beer is really just for export. The Smithwicks brewery is in the city and the local brew is called Smithwicks - a bit less fizzy than Kilkenny, a bit smoother.

I'm a Spice Girl (originally from Sichuan, China) but have lived in various parts of the UK for over 20 years, and right now I reside in Birmingham, second largest city in the small island everyone calls England :)

Fun fact - do you know that Vered and I have met for real and shared some very spicy Sichuan food last year right here in Birmingham, after we met via GoodReads? One day I intend to pay her a visit in Kenya, or wherever she decides to relocate to in the future :)

Hi Harold - Albanians and Chinese used to be great friends - if you're old enough, you'd know that Albania used to be China's only friend and little brother in Europe :) I have not read the author you mentioned but I have watched Albanian films before and have a couple of Albanian friends here in the UK :)

Yes, indeed, we did meet and dinned together. It was awesome to actually meet a GR friend in real life! Not that GR isn't real, but you know what I mean!
