Lee Burton (lsburton337) There's some very good NL authors. Off the top of my head ... well, everyone loves Michael Crummey. Galore was fantastic.

Wayne Johnston is phenomenal. We read his Human Amusements in my book club last year, and I loved it.

Ed Riche has very rich and wry writing. Best known for Rare Birds, but Easy to Like is stellar and multifaceted as well.

Lisa Moore tends to be a bit of a juggernaut in the province itself.

Russell Wangersky, I believe, won the 2011 Scotia Bank Giller Prize.

And a little lesser-known, but quite as talented, is Sara Tilley with her Percy Janes and Fresh Fish award-winning novel Skin Room.
