Lily walked into the room, and checked her seat. She turned and studied the class. The only one there had to be the guy she sat next to. She put her stuff down on the desk and pulled her chair in. "Hi." She said softly, avoiding his eyes.
"Hi Im Sebastian, you can call me Sean though." He smiled and shook her hand. She was pretty with an earthy feel to herself. "So what are you?" He asked.
"I'm a tree nymph. And yourself?" He was kind of cute with his blonde hair, but he gave Lily a weird feeling.
"Um yeah 'bout that im a... lycanthrope" she looked frightened, "and i have no idea how to control it" she gave a small squeek. "But thats why im here, haha" he gave a nervous laugh.
Lily tried to smile, but found she couldn't. "Oh...are you uh...dangerous to the enviorment? Oh, and humanity...?"
"Well id like to think no, but in reality im dangerous as long as i dont know what im capable of." He said with a serious tone. "And i know what youre thinking i havent killed anyone i left before i could."
"Did you kill any animals? Or plants? Please tell me you didn't..." Lily didn't want to sound stupid, but she wasn't very concerned with whether or not he killed anyone. Trees were a different story though...
"I didnt kill anything except some grass, but i didnt really have a choise it was during my first change and it was like feeling my individual bones were being ripped and shifted and broken apart one by one. Then my skin is being pulled and streched over my newly formed bones. So yes i killed some grass." Sean said.
"Well i started changing about 9 months ago so about last week was the last time i did that." Sean said.
Tyler walked in and found his seat behind the redhead. She was kind of cute. He decided to say hi. "Hey, I'm Tyler." She just looked at him. "Did I interupt? Sorry...Well...what's your name?"
"No i was just freaking her out, ill be going now." Sean copied down the chapters for tonight and left for his next class. "See ya later, im Sebastian by the way." He smiled as he left and mubbled something about tree huggers, grass, and girls.
"Bye" Lily gave a smile as Sean left. He was nice. She would talk to him again. That she knew. Lily looked at the new kid. "Lily" She said and felt her face go hot. This kid was...how do you put it gently...cute? No...Sean was cute. This guy was...oh yeah...hot.
"Cool. Why are you blushing?" Tyler may not be the smartest kid in the world, but he had an idea of what was going on here. "Do you have a crush on that guy??"
Lily's mouth popped open and she felt the blush deepen. "No!! I just met him! Why wouldn you assume such a thing?" Lily copied the notes before gathering her things. "If your going to act like a three year old, then don't bother talking to me." Who cares if this guy was gorgeous? Lily didn't mean to insult him, she just got angry when she was embarassed and uncomfortable.
Ash opened the door, her face slightly flushed as she looked around and sighed with relief at finding a classroom, any class as long as somebody was in it. She walked over and chose a random seat int the back of the class and sat down. Then she propped her feet up on the desk, letting out a large sigh.
"Dude, I don't think you can put your feet on the table." Tyler let out a small laugh. When the girl looked at him like she was going to kill him, he said "Hey, whatch it. I just got done with a conversation with a ginger. I don't care WHAT you have to say."
She looked at him quizzically, and then let out a loud ringing laugh. She jumped and skidded over the desk and went and sat down next to this guy. "I don't care if it isn't allowed." She said placing her elbows out behind her and leaning back casually. She then smiled and propped her feet up again.
"Honestly, I won't." She then slid and put her heeled shoes on his desk. "Just try and make me." Then she smiled darkly at him.
"Alright. Lets have a contest. Whoever can do the best impression of the other wins. If I win, you take your feet off the desk. If you win, you can keep them there." He smiled slyly. "Deal?"
"Alright then." She relaxed her face and made it into a twisted face trying to look like him and said in a lower voice, "Get your feet off the desk." She then cringed at how stupid she had sounded but laughed anyway.
Tyler gave a small laugh because it was funny. But he wasn't challenging her to get a good laugh out of it. He stared at her face for a second and then pictured it clearly in his mind. He felt himself changing. And when he spoke, it wasn't his voice anymore, but hers. "I'll keep my feet on the table if I want to. I don't care if you don't like it. Deal with it." He sounded sarcastic and annoyed. Just like she did. He went back to himself and smiled. "Well? How was that? I think I did pretty good if I do say so myself."
Clicked her tongue in annoyance, she hated losing. Though she knew a promise was to be kept, so she slid her feet off the table and crossed them. "Well that is a pretty nifty trick you have there. You could seriously Mind F- wait this is a school, you could make a lot of people go insane with that talent." She then grinned.
"Well if anyone pi-" She stopped and took a deep breathe, "If anybody makes you mad, you can mess with their minds, do the voices of the ones closest to them, talk to them in whispers, you can confuse them, make them lose their sanity. Or you can always give them a simple call with that voice, and you could ruin somebodies life." She then grinned and her eyes glowed at the idea.
"What if...you just wanted to-" Tyler paused trying to figure out how to word this. "-just wanted to annoy someone. But not to the point where they hate you...?"
'Well that's no fun, but think about it, you could. Or scare somebody. Easily done." Waves it off. "Why though? What are you planning?"
"Nothing" Tyler said quickly. "I mean...I'm just wondering...I never asked: What ARE you? And what's your name."
"Doesn't matter what I am, the name's Ash though. I would say nice to meet you, but it hasn't been very nice so far." She said with a crooked grin.
"Just because you lost doesn't mean you can't tell me what you are. I'm a ghost." He stretched out his hand. "Names Tyler."
She just looked at his hand and laughed. "Honestly I don't shake people's hands. Though fine I guess I will tell you what I am. I am a half elf. Neither Elf nor Human which makes me a loner." She replied grinning wickedly.
"Just trying to be a gentleman." He put his hand down as he rolled his eyes dramaticlly. "Impressive. So what do you do?"
"Kind of, this is more of an ancient dark arts though." She said pulling out a dagger and balancing it between her fingers reflecting the light.
"Whoa, dude. I'm sorry for insulting you, but you don't have to kill me." He autimatically took his feet off the table.
"I wasn't going to kill you." She laughed. "I just always play with my dagger. I take delight in dangerous things."
"Well obviously!" Tyler started copying down the notes. "Do you think the teacher is going to show up? Cause, if not, I might as well leave."
"I doubt it. I have to get going anyway, I just randomly walked into here." She then slowly took her dagger and slit it across her wrist, letting the blood pour from the wound.
