(roleplay)

Browntail smelled the nice soft earth as she slid through it. (( She sliding through mud))

"Hey, Browntail!" called Earthclaw. "Up for a practice battle?" She landed with great ease.

Browntail new how much the griffin likes to show of his fighting moves but sighed "okay." (( griffin's can't fly or they would be air griffins just to let you know))

"I'll let you have the first move." she said slyly.

((sorry, i didnt realize))

"Whatever." She said and flung herself at the griffin and dug her claws into her feathers.

But Earthclaw was ready and grabbed the otter in her beak. She shook her and made her dizzy.

((Beak))

((Otters don't have beaks))

((im taking about the griffin, griffins are half eagle, half lion so they have beaks))

((oh thought you were talking about the otter))

((nope, but it's your turn to write))

Browntail jumped away then jumped on her back and clawed her head.

Earthclaw used her tail to grab Browntail and fling her away. Earthclaw charged at Browntail.

Browntail jumped on a tree held on for a moment then when Earthclaw was close enough she jumped on her again.

After a couple more minutes of this pattern, Earthclaw yelled "Okay! I think we're done!" and stopped to rest.

Browntail huffed and settled down to rest.

"That was pretty fun, if I do say so myself." she said.

"Yep!" she said.

"Oh! I wanted to give you something...here!" She pulled out a polished figure made of wood in the shape of an otter.

"Cool where did you get it?" She asked.

"I made it and it took me a week to make...Anyway, do you know why I made it?" she said.

"Uh... for me?" she guessed.

"It's your birthday, silly!" she said happily. "And I also have a party at my cave waiting for us and a special guest. What do you say?" she asked.
