There's 15 - I have so many that I love to read. I would have to say these are authors of some of the books I have enjoyed the most over the last year or two. A lot of the authors on the above lists I have to say I am unfamiliar with, however I think I will have to check them out!
Nice list Lee. I just bought the Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hocking. I am looking forward to reading it.
Janie wrote: "Nice list Lee. I just bought the Trylle trilogy by Amanda Hocking. I am looking forward to reading it."Thanks Janie. It's a quick read, I read the first two in a day and a half, then had to wait for the 3rd one to be released. I notice on your updates, you read quick so you could have all 3 done in a weekend. You may also like The Hollow's - only 2 in the series so far, but good zombie apocalypse books.
Just as an FYI - I follow Hocking's blog and the trilogy is up for being made into a movie or movies. She has done quite well for herself starting as an Indie author self publishing her work on Amazon. The power of the E-book!

YW - I don't know how close they are to any sort of production, but last I read she sold the movie rights to all 3 novels to Media Rights Capital and Terri Tatchell has already started adapting the first 2 novels to screen plays and will also be the films producer. If you are not familiar with Tatchell she co-wrote District 9 and is married to director Neill Blomkamp.

Ok guys I just have to make mention of this Author, Kalilah Coulter. She is amazing. I read her book Still Waters, and now have bought book 2 in the series called Kenney which just came out. I just had to share this with y'all!
Has anyone read Lars Kepler? He is a Swedish author and I am about to finish the first book in his series called The Hypnotist. He is an amazing writer is all I can say and I wanted to share that here.
Have a couple of new favorites, Chris Carter for one and I have only just read one book so far, but I loved it and plan on getting the rest of them in the series. Also I have to add Jodi Picoult, even though she is not a new author for me, I have read a couple more of her books and she is quickly becoming another 'favorite'. I look forward to picking up her books as often as I can.
