Um, I learned both in fifth grade, actually. Because The Last Olympian, the book in which Percy's birthday was revealed, came out on May 5, 2009, which was when I was a fifth grader, and then we learned American history in fifth grade up to the Revolutionary War, and we did a small section on the Roanoke and so I found that out.

Your fifth grade class, evidently, was much cooler than mine. Alls we learned about was squaring numbers and not throwing glue at each other.

Ahhhh, I loved my fifth grade teacher. She was amazing. She just understood kids in a way that other teachers didn't.

And only other person I know who shares Ausitn's brithday is my aunt. :o
