Let's Talk about Love (Something Infinite) discussion

a. Sometimes, we may find ourselves in situations or dealing with issues in our life that are SO overwhelming that we feel we just cannot deal with it, so we just walk (or run) away from them.
i. What situations or issues have you run from?
ii. What made them so intense that you just had to get away from them?

I ran away from my hometown. Not as a child, but over a year after I graduated from college. That period of time is an interesting transtion period because most people just graduating from college have no idea who they want to be in the "real world". Towards the latter of that time period I sunk deeper and deeper into despair because I was not on a path that I felt God was preparing me to be on. I came to realize that the people who wanted the best for me didn't always know what the best for me was. I had to take a leap of faith and ingnore all of those who had a smaller vision for my life than I had.

Well I am bias in terms of your relocation. I appreciate the courage you had to go further than most in our communities who never leave the neighborhood. I honor how you didn't take the easy path and run back home when things got rough. Perhaps the best thing is how you explain it all as an exercise of faith. I can't wait to see the crop that comes from that mustard seed.
