This ABC drama takes storybook characters and puts them into a modern day town - Storybrooke, Maine.

Is anyone else crazy about this show? Season two starts tonight!

I've heard it's really good.

I really enjoy this show.

I loved the first season. The new season is taking off in a new direction and I can't wait to see what develops.

What tv station is it on?

It's on ABC on Sundays. I love the evil queen, Regina, the best.

Okay, so what did everyone think of the series opener? I loved how the story is changing. Thank goodness Emma lost her skepticism last season! I liked (view spoiler)[the Sleeping Beauty theme - cute couple! (hide spoiler)] but I have to admit that I wasn't crazy about (view spoiler)[Mulan. She was too hard-edged for my taste (hide spoiler)].

Looks like a yummy Captain Hook is coming up in future episodes ;-)

It's going to be real interesting seeing how Emma and Mary handle things now that Emma is in Mary's world instead of Mary being in Emma's.

Agreed. I wondered how long they're going to be stuck there.

I dunno how to hide spoilers... I LOVED her, though. I think there's going to be reasons behind whatever/whoever she is, so I want see what they are. I always loved the legend behind her, so I'm dying to see how this turns out.

You're right...there are probably reasons why she's so grim, lol. It's probably one of those characters who will end up growing on me.

I kind of liked the M character. I don't know anything about the M legend but I think maybe in her country women didn't do what she was doing so she had to take on the veneer of a male. And she's learned not to let her emotions come into play in her line of work.

But I love that Emma and Snow are now where they're at. I want to know if the Prince will be revived too.

I love this show. I watched the season three times when it was on hiatus. I think I have a crush on Rumple.

I can't wait to see where they take it -- and as the creators of Lost, WHO KNOWS?

Lol. My daughter has a crush on him, too. I was really into Graham for a while, but I'm thinking he may lose his seat to Captain Hook.

The Mysterious Man is the actor who played the crazy serial killer on True Blood -- and in that case, you're right! Rumple might have a rumble on his hands. Heh.

Just finished watching episode 2 online and I have to say things keep getting better and better. Can't wait to see where things go from here, the appearance of (view spoiler)[ Cora (hide spoiler)] at the end was quite a surprise. It will be interesting seeing how Snow White handles meeting that person.

I loved the ending, too. I was worried that this season wouldn't be as good, but no worries, lol.

I love this show. Rumplestiltkin is my favorite. Actually all the villains are the more interesting really. I was annoyed no Belle in the last episode after the first episode of the seasons explanation (Grrr?) but can't wait for each Sunday.

I agree! And I wanted more Snow/Emma, too.

I had thought that the reason Rumple was so ticked off at the end of the show was because (view spoiler)[he realized that he couldn't take Belle out of Storybrooke because she'd forget about their past together. (hide spoiler)] Nice twist, that.

I'm so glad to see Charming back, and it really does shed a lot of light on last season and why David Nolan acted the way he did (and made me want to slap him silly). Actually, all of them were affected by the curse by not only stripping away all their happiness but by making them the weakest, worst parts of themselves.

I think your reason is right, Michelle, but I also think it's because he would forget about Bae -- and ultimately, I think that's what Rumple is all about.

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled with Charming last season, either! He's much stronger this time around. Actually, Regina is my favorite character...next to that son of hers. He's such a cutie!

Can I watch old episodes if Hulu? My work schedule takes up all the TV since I generally work nights.

I'm not sure. I can sometimes watch old episodes on cable if U-verse is running them as freebies. Have you tried NetFlix? Or even iTunes will sometimes have older episodes of TV shows.

@ Scott: The whole previous season is available on NetFlix and HukuPlus; new episodes I think are available on HuluPlus (maybe Hulu too) and I also believe ABC makes them available on their website, although you'd have to check.

The way they acted makes much more sense now that the curse as been lifted and they're back to their own selves -- or at least, the better part of themselves.

...on Henry -- love that child! BUT...I am so curious as to his tie with Regina. Henry was her father's name. And for an evil queen, she's really attached to that kid, especially since she procured him from RUMPLE...who evidently, from the last episode, had something to do with you-know-who. (Don't know how to do the spoiler thing, so I'll just leave it at that.)

Oh, me too!! I felt so sorry for David's wife! She was just a pawn in the whole thing, and she was treated like garbage. I was upset by that.

The plot keeps getting twistier, but I love it! And I'd totally forgotten about the whole Rumple/Henry connection.

Rumplestilskin is a very interesting character. He keeps getting more and more complex. I had forgotten that Belle was a booklover. That ought to make her especially special to us Goodreaders. :-) And I love how they introduced Captain Hook. It will certainly be interesting to see where things go from here.

I love Rumplestilskin, he is complex. The actor plays all the different facets of Rumple very well too.

I want to find out who the father of Henry is and where Bane, Rumple's son is. Wouldn't it be weird if both Bane and Henry's father were the same person?

I'm wondering if Rumple's son is the guy they showed at the second season premiere in the apartment building during the first five minutes. A postcard flew to his window from Storybrooke about the curse being broken. We haven't seen anything about him since.

And yep I LOVE how they did Belle with the books and the library.

I agree Penumbra, the actor who plays Rumple is very good. In fact, other than Regina, he's my favorite character.

And I didn't realize until recently that Barbara Hershey is Regina's mother. I remember that actress from the Woody Allen movie, "Hannah and Her Sisters", lol.

Lol! Although Netflix has been letting me down lately. :( A lot of my favorite shows are HBO ones, and Netflix streaming doesn't carry those. I used to subscribe to HBO (and HBO Go), but I don't want *both* HBO and Netflix.

Ok, just watched the most recent episode and I have a question I hope my fellow fans can answer: What is the connection with the name of "Dr. Whale" actually being (view spoiler)[Dr. Victor Frankenstein? (hide spoiler)] Before I thought he was the whale that swallowed Pinnochio and during this episode I thought he might be the Wizard of Oz, but it never occured to me until late in the episode that he might be who he turned out to be!

I was *so* confused by that last episode!! If it hadn't been for my 16 yo daughter watching with me, I would have never figured out who that guy was. (I thought he was from Oz, too, lol.) Then there was the guy who (view spoiler)[David punched for sleeping with Snow (hide spoiler)]. When did *that* happen??

I need to pay less attention to my knitting, and more attention to the TV *sigh*.

I love this show! It's the best fairytale retellings I've seen, and there are always unexpected twists. I can't wait to see what the rest of season 2 brings.

I'm honestly on the fence this season. I'm not sure if I like it yet. Last season, I was totally hooked from the first episode. This season, just not sure. I feel like some of the characters don't have the same chemistry. I don't feel like the episodes are flowing like they once did. Hmm...

My younger daughter isn't as excited about it this season as she was last year, either. I like the fact that (view spoiler)[ Emma now realizes what's going on in Storeybrook. I finally got around to watching Sunday's episode, and I really liked this one the best of the season. It was back to the original format - a parallel story between Storeybrook and the magic land. Plus, I love Red/Ruby.

I agree. I think this has been the best episode of this season and it's a good thing. I was beinging to lose interest.
