Fairy Tale Land is where all the characters from fairy tales live. Their stories are supposed to play out according to The Great Book, which is basically a magic book telling the fate of each character, that the Great Wizard controls. The great Wizard is sort of like a secret mayor to fairy land. He makes sure everything goes according to plan and the scales of good and evil stay balanced. The characters do not know about him or the book or the scales.
Then, a group of villains (Wicked Stepmother, Rumpelstiltskin, the Big Bad Wold, etc.) find out about the wizard after snooping around in the castle(his lair is in the very top of the tower). They trapped the wizard in the dungeon and took over, claiming the castle as theirs. Now, they are trying to hunt down the good guys, to make sure they win. The villains will make sure no body gets their happily ever after.
You can claim an already existing character or create your own citizen of Fairy Tale Land. Remember that they would dress like people in fairy tales. All good guys are on run.
