THE LISTS discussion

The second and last book I have chosen is Narcopolis by Jeet Thayil. The book is nominated in both short and longlists of Man Booker 2012. The thing that piqued my interest about this book is because of its short, but fruitful synopsis where it foreshadowed that reading this book will explain how drugs can affect one's well-being whether its good or bad for our lives. It does its thing by making us think about how 'users' can cope up and have a new lifestyle with the drug. This is what I want to know about so I can attend to other people who needs help and attention. It might be alarming at first, but it will also make me learn how the world has become.
