This is a great group with awesome writers. Compiling our efforts into an anthology is a totally awesome idea!
This is the first step- feedback. What do you think?
basically, we'd write short stories and poems, and at the end of December we'd compile them into a whole little book!

I think that we can do it, else I wouldn't have suggested it. :)

Well, yes. That's sort of the idea. First, however, we need the actual stories. Pending Charlie's response I may be able to convince her to allow me to set this up by Thursdayish.

Post your suggestions! Everything about this work is crowd-sourced. The only thing that has already been defined is the editor (me, and if Charlie wants herself as well), although even that is probably not set in stone and others can contribute to the editing process.

I can be an editor if I'm needed. I'm fairly good at catching grammatical and spelling errors on other people's work.

LOL, first we need submissions. After that I'll designate copy-editors (that's what people who edit for grammatical/spelling errors are called).

My last exam is on December 21, but that's the outlier. December 14 is the last of my grouped exams. I'll have it up by the 15-16 at the latest.

Thinking about it, we'll two weeks till year ends, then as the initial plan goes, we'll a have a creative overload week I guess =)

I don't think we'll be ready by the end of December. However, I don't mind extending it a little further.

No probs, but if you keep it anywhere in mid Jan' I'll have my pre-finals, but I would like to get a theme... I just want something to write about :)

I have done Kindle covers as well as full book covers, so as soon as you find out what you need and what style I can work on some drafts.

Hi - what is the close date for submissions?

Not until we've got enough to publish. So basically a while yet.

I was wondering if it's possible to submit some short stories for consideration. Constructive feedback always appreciated. I ask because most have a horror or weird fiction slant.
