I think he was a lot more lively in the first three books. After City of Glass, he got a little depressed and that was really sad and he kind of lost all his sarcasm so he wasnt as funny, and i started to like Simon, but i hope now that Jace is "back to normal" he will have some more funny moments in City of Heavenly Fire

Its funny cause when i started the series i hated Simon, i thought the book wouldve been alot better without him. But i think it was when i was on City of Glass did i start appreciating him, now he's my favoriate character, i think. Probably after Jace. Its confusing cause i just love both of them, and after they casted the actors for the movie, Robert Sheehan just raised Simon up, and Bower......i still cant accept him as "Jace". He is NOT Jace! Its how Jace was sort of possessed in Lost Souls, except in a much much less attracting figure. I swear they couldve taken the guy on the cover of the book as Jace and called him an actor, and i wouldnt have been crushed by the news!
