Heidi Angell (heidiangell) | 211 comments Ha, does it count if I just finished reading it today? If so, I can mark of number 17! I just finished Angels & Warriors: The Awakening by Dawn Tevy. I wouldn't have guessed from reading the blurb, or from the cover that this would be a book that I would be embarrassed to read in front of others, but there are some really hot and intense sexually charged scenes. The author does a perfect job of saying just enough to get my blood going, while leaving enough to my already over-active imagination! Several times I had to stop reading when someone got home, or walked in the room because I could feel myself blushing! I am excited about this challenge!

message 5: by Jessie (new)

Jessie | 1 comments I want to do this! Starting 21 days late but worth a try :) will let you know how I go

message 6: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Angell (heidiangell) | 211 comments Just completed number 23 (Percy Jackson and the Olympians)
Starting 1 (Introducing my boys to The Hunger Games)
For 6. my boys and I read Creepy Kitchen by Lee Newman. It was super cute!

For 13, I am almost done with Spare Change by Bette Lee Crosby. Two of the major characters are Ethan Allen and Benjamin. Technically this could also meet 4 and 5. but I think that is cheating.... Off for more reading!

message 7: by Diana (new)

Diana I'm going to start off extremely late with 1) To kill a mockingbird. Always wanted to read it, but always got sidetracked. I enjoyed putting together a list that fit the requirements, and I'm going to try to make it through by New Year's, but if I don't I will definitely finish reading them regardless.

Thanks for the ideas!

message 8: by Kim (new)

Kim Peek Wow, I really want to do this challenge, but I am so far behind on my reading for my groups. I love some of the suggestions though, so I am going to read the list a little bit at a time anyway, just not for the challenge.
