So what Christmas books are you planning to read this year? We can all get some ideas from everyone else. I start reading them in October and finish a few in January. There are always great new Amish ones from series we love! And others too!

Carole Jarvis As a church pianist, Christmas is a busy season for me, so I have no idea how much I'll get read. But it's fun to come up with a plan, so here's some that I'd like to read - different types, also from both bookshelves and Kindle. Thanks for the idea, Lorie!

One Shenandoah Winter by Davis Bunn My Mother's Wish An American Christmas Carol by Jerry Camery-Hoggatt The Christmas Bus by Melody Carlson One Holy Night by J.M. Hochstetler The Christmas Kite by Gail Gaymer Martin The Unfinished Gift by Dan Walsh Currier & Ives Christmas by Lynn A. Coleman Engaging Father Christmas (Father Christmas Series, #2) by Robin Jones Gunn A Biltmore Christmas by Diane Ashley Gideon's Gift A Novel by Karen Kingsbury

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) I haven't actually thought about Christmas reads yet, since the semesters at my university were changed this year, which now means that we have exams the week before Christmas! For all I know, I could still be studying up until the 21st of December. But I have four weeks off for Christmas, so I hope to get a lot of reading done then.

The only Christmas-themed book I know I'll be reading is:

A Wreath of Snow A Victorian Christmas Novella by Liz Curtis Higgs

Lorie, I just read A Simple Winter a week ago. While it has no references to Christmas, it's still a very nice winter read. A good curl-up-by-the-fire novel. :)
