I've added the book The Whale: In Search of the Giants of the Sea, written by the creator of the Big Moby-Dick Read and inspired by Melville, to the group's bookshelf. I haven't read it yet but it's probably a good addition for anyone who enjoys reading related books. Since we're reading at a much slower pace with one chapter a day, some might have the time to add this to their reading stack.

I added two books written by narrators in the big read.
When my beagle is left alone, she howls like her heart is broken; my nieces used to call it whale talk (no humpbacks have responded yet, though). I just found an interesting Tumblr:
