Serena shot another basket, wishing the basket was higher up, so as to make it more of a challenge. She decided she'd go onto the gymnastics bar, which was a slight challenge although she was very flexible.

Serena didn't notice, as she was lost in thought.

Aurelie throws herself down in the corner of the gym. She rests her arms on her knees and forces herself to take some steady breaths as she stares at her shaking hands. Had Nadya really been that cool about killing Dealan?

Aurelie stares at her hands and allows herself to relax, leaning her head back against the cool gym wall. She mutters in french to herself under her breath, closing her eyes and trying to fend of the panicking feeling that she is losing Nadya to the shadows.

Aurelie pulls herself back into reality and notices the girl. She scoops the ball up with one hand, tossing it back to the girl. The ball bounces in front of her. She closes her eyes again, hugging her knees.

Aurelie gives a distracted nod in the direction of the girl. "Oui, ca va bien, merci," she replies quickly.

Aurelie nods slightly. "Oui, c'est droit. Je suis francais."

Aurelie smiles slightly, though a weary expression fills her eyes. "I speak fluent english, if zat is what you mean."

Aurelie nods, her mind elsewhere. She rests a light hand on the stab wound on her stomach from this morning and closes her eyes. It still throbs, though the scars from her arms and legs have healed over well.

Aurelie pushes herself against the wall. "Oui, I am fine, it is all 'ealed, don't worry," she says quickly, pulling her blouse around her. She swore. She hadn't realised she hadn't changed clothes since... Most of the blood had gone when Nadya had healed her, but not all.

Aurelie shakes her head. "I said I am fine. It is an old wound, not fresh," she says, pushing herself into standing.

Aurelie nods again, more fervently. She pinches her eyes closed for a second and takes a few more deep breaths.

Aurelie's eyes fly back open and she blinks a few times. Clicking her fingers, she vanishes the blood stains from her clothes. "Oh no, but thank you," she replies, running a distracted hand through her fiery hair.

Aurelie smiles kindly at the girl. "Bonjour, je m'appelle Aurelie Petaine. I am a transfer student from Boulogne, France. Though, 'aving said zat, I 'ave been living 'ere for quite a few months now. Feels like years..." She mutters the last bit quietly to herself.

Aurelie nods. "Zat we will be, I am sure. Maintenant, excuse moi s'il vous plait, I must try and find Nadya..." She frowns, worried. "I just don't know what she'll do," Aurelie says, sighing.
Aurelie nods. "Practically a sister," she murmurs, mentally trying to list where she might have headed to.

Aurelie hesitates. "She's trouble. We all are. I think I 'ad better warn you zat." Her bright eyes gleamed seriously beneath her furrowed brow.
Aurelie's expression remained serious. "And what if I told you the reason I was covered in blood is because Nadya's sadistic boyfriend stabbed me and zen Nadya killed 'im?" Aurelie says, voice dry and hard as she tries to make a point.

Aurelie gives a light laugh. "Bonne chance, bonne chance. I 'ave been saying zat every day since I got 'ere. You can't stop it. Just try not to get killed, oui?" She heads out of the gym, going straight to the graveyard.
