Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Kinda like the "Right now I'm..." thread, only sharing news about what was going on in your world last night.

message 2: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Okay. You start.

message 3: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Last night I had a date. I waited at Starbucks, rooibos in hand, for him to show up. 30 minutes later... "I had 8:15am on my calendar... tomorrow"

I'm glad it happened the way it did. I was already trying to come up with an excuse to weasel out of it because I didn't sleep well Tuesday night. I was exhausted. So yay! I got to go to bed early!

message 4: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments So how do you like the Rooibos?

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Jim wrote: "So how do you like the Rooibos?"

It was pleasant. :)

message 6: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Made a loaf of homemade bread, and supper for my son who has been home from school the last couple of days with the flu. Finished reading a book, then watched Survivor with my wife when she got back from a gathering of the care group for our friend that just passed away.

So you get to do it all over again tonight? This time he'd better show up or we'll put a hit out on him.

message 8: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Well maybe not a hit, but we'll make him sorry!

message 9: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Baseball bats will be involved.

Phil | 11901 comments Rushed out for a quick nine holes of golf with Mrs. Phil when her playing partner for the evening had to cancel. It turned out to be the first time she scored better than I did. Yea, Mrs. Phil!

No. And I was trying to think of a way to weasel out of it yday, so I'm grateful that he stood me up... and irritated... but mostly grateful. :) He saved me the effort of being a douchebag.

message 13: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh, okay. I get that.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments janine wrote: "And ... Had a few drinks."

I wish I could use that excuse. Sadly, last night it was water only for me. I just sleep-texted. Sober sleep-texting.

message 26: by [deleted user] (new)

Who did you "sleep text", Heiders?

...didn't get enough sleep!

message 27: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Amelia wrote: "Who did you "sleep text", Heiders?"

A guy

message 28: by [deleted user] (last edited Nov 15, 2012 02:24PM) (new)

What did you sleep text, Heiders? :)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Amelia wrote: "What did you sleep text, Heiders? :)"

Stuff about beans and salad and sociopaths and brownies and snoring dogs?!

Yeah. WTF.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Ah, not having the kind of dreams I was expecting to prompt sleep texting to a hottie...

message 31: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Amelia wrote: "Ah, not having the kind of dreams I was expecting to prompt sleep texting to a hottie..."

Maybe there was innuendo that's, like, really REALLY subversive and hidden somewhere in there?

message 32: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments Last night I had dinner with friends.

message 33: by [deleted user] (new)

Beans...maybe. Depends on the bean.
Salad...okay, I've heard of a tossing thing that made me want to barf.
Sociopaths...I hope not.
Brownies...again, could be, but not something I know about or want to, personally.
Snoring Dogs...no. Your dog just happened to be snoring next to you.

♥ I didn't tell him I sleep-texted him. He thinks I was conscious when I sent the messages. I totally was not.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments janine wrote: "Last night I had dinner with friends."

:) Dinner with friends! I haven't done this in a while... it always makes my day.

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

That was NOT a good film.

Agreed.

message 38: by [deleted user] (new)

I used to buy DVDs a lot. Sometimes I would see one I'd never heard of and think, Toni Collette, Andie MacDowell? Has to be good right? NO!

I think the two worst were:

Hysterical Blindness with Uma Thurman and Juliette Lewis.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0290664/

And Tiptoes with Matthew McConaughey, Kate Beckinsale and Patricia Arquette

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0316768/

That movie is seriously awful. Matt plays the twin brother of a little person. He has never told his fiance that he is the twin of a little person and he never wants kids because he's afraid they will be a little person. Little person brother shows up and (view spoiler)Horrible. Horrible. You hate him for being an ass the whole movie. But, it's still a sucky ending.

Jammies Last night, after a craptastic day, Mouse had diarrhea repeatedly through the night.

message 40: by Carol (new)

Carol | 1678 comments I'm sorry, is Mouse a dog?

Last night I skipped zen because I had a belly ache. It's better now!

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

I agree with that Janine.

Beat Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance on PS2. I love that game.

message 48: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4470 comments I went for a walk . I stayed up late and regretted it.

message 49: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments I went to the BFF's house to play with her 9 mo old daughter. We're doing a new trick now - when I lean in towards her, she headbutts me. It cracks me up every time... her, too.

Baby headbutts can be surprisingly painful.
