MERLIN RETURNS!




With the death of Uther comes the reign of Arthur as king, and Queen Guienevere.
How will Merlin cope now? Will he be able to persuade Aruthur into allowing magic back in Camelot, or will he stay as stuborn as his father. Morgana is now alive thanks to the new Dragon...its all happening!

What do you think of Mordred?! Will Arthur's predicted fate come to pass? Will Morgana be stopped? It's all up to Merlin now...he is the only one who can protect Arthur.

What are your thoughts on the start of an exciting new series...

Oh, wasn't the opening episode amazing tonight???!

I LOVED it! I was especially in love with Gwen's stunning red dress! And I was glad to see although she seems to have gotten feistier, she hasn't left the kind-hearted servant girl in her behind!

What a fantastic opener though! Mordred's return was great; I was wondering how much of the 'actual' legend they were going to put in and it seems they've stuck with the Mordred/Arthur final battle which will be wonderful to watch!

I'm so excited to see what this final series brings for ALL the characters, but I imagine Arthur will be killed by Mordred, as this IS the final series! :(

Gwen looked amazing! (so much better than when she was dressed as a servant). They had the round table: it was SO exciting!!!

im still a season behind :( but i love this show sooo much, such a great adaption of such a great tale.

I could not agree more! the arthurian legends are something we will always love as most have herd of them, hence why we can reconize them and connect to the story. This BBC adaptation of Merlin is gripping, funny and fantastic!

Oh man, I don't get new Merlin episodes until January. :(

Oh dear. Well all i can say is that they are even better!

I recently just started watching Merlin from season 1. I have almost finished the first season and my friend is going to bring the season 2 DVD so we can all watch it together. So I will probably catch up to season 5 which is currently airing in Australia in a few weeks.

So far IT IS AWESoME !!!!

I agree!! It just gets better & better every series. :)

I liked the early seasons best. I think because Merlin's character went NO WHERE. Arthur, despite being friends, still treats Merlin like dirt. Gwen's kinda high and mighty now. Morgana's character arc was very strange in that her motivations made no sense. It's like a switch was flipped and now she's not even Morgana any more.

Merlin is OVER!!!! *crying*

(I do not mean to offend anyone, as what i shall now say is my own opinion).

I HATED the ending. It just was terrible and really upset me, as the series has spanned such a long time and it was cut short. Everything was rushed (he told Arthur about his magical ability in a hurry) and as for the 'twist' at the end...it did not fit in at all.

We did not find out about the proper conclusion. The enemy was defeated in such an unspectacular way, it was quite pathetic (i was expecting more of a fight). And as for what happened to Arthur...he knew and then that was it! I was hoping to be concequences and some big event after Merlin had told him, but nothing. We also have no idea what happened afterwards in Camelot...it was just really rushed and poor.

Sorry! I am having a little tantrum because i loved the series SO much and i really wanted it to end with a BANG. It was just so disapointing. :(

I HATED it as well. What complete and utter rubbish. Everything was SOO disappointing. And I haven't even seen it yet. Darn you, Tumblr.

But anyways....


That was one of the crappiest endings EVER.

I seem to have lost track of the series...now I want to go back and see the last season. I haven't seen any of the shows from this season :(

I think that it could have been because other shows were more popular, and less people were watching Merlin.
It is a great shame.
