After a ninja graduates from the Academy, they go on to protect a member of the royal court. Ninjas remain in the academy until they are 18. Once they graduate, they are ranked from A-D, A being the highest grade, but often reserved for extreme talents. An average grade ninja is a C ranked.

Personality: Ji is very instinctive and relies much on her own feelings. It's very had to catch her out of her element because she is so adaptable, and that is what makes her difficult to beat. However, Ji is a planner. She HATES winging things, likes to sort things out. Luckily, she is actually fairly good at this, and very quick-witted. This makes her a "C" at such a young age. The only thing she lacks is physical strength. However, if you want someone to lead a mission, or guard your life put in a request for Ji and you won't regret it.

History: No, Chouji doesn't look remotely like a Japanese person, does she? That's because she's half Portuguese. Her father was a sailor, and fell in love with a Japanese commoner named Tori. They secretly married, but it was unintentional that Tori fell pregnant. Alas, it did in fact happen. Once the royal court knew that a foreigner and one of their own had created a child, they were immeasurably enraged. Her father was executed. Chouji was meant to be killed along with Tori, but Tori hid, and as soon as she gave birth, hid Chouji in a tree and fled. She was caught and killed, but Chouji was found by a Samurai. Now, the Samurai didn't have the heart to kill a crying, blood, filthy little baby, and took her to the ninja camp. He was killed, but the ninjas took in Chouji, seeing promise in those delicate brown eyes. So, she's been here ever since, not knowing her mother, nor her father's faces. But, in her dreams she does seen the kind Samurai who saved her life. Chouji is the only one in the camp who has a war horse. The horse doesn't have a specific name, but she occasionally calls him, "Samurai".
Family: None, she's an orphan, but regards each ninja has family and will regard them as "brother" or "sister".
Crush: She thinks Whit-Fang is kind of cute, but it doesn't go much farther than that.

Is there anything important going on in the ninja camp? I'd like my character to enter the story some time....

Well, there was conflict between the ninja and samurai, but now that's been resolved ad everyone's kind of gone off on their own. Something's gonna happen soon, though. I would have your character either be at the palace or ninja camp. If I find the time I plan on having it happen tonight, so that everyone comes back together. So, if you want you can wait, too.
