After a samurai is determined worthy by their mentor, they usually go on to join the army. Samurai must be at least 18 to join. Once they join, they take a test that ranks them from A-D, A being the highest grade, but often reserved for extreme talents. An well trained samurai is a B rank.

Ok, not really, but he's got a good, stout heart. Aaaaaaaaand....that's pretty much it. Sai isn't exactly...intelligent...or muscular (he is fit however), and he doesn't consider himself to be very handsome (though he is), he's just some kid who got shoved into Samurai ranks because of his father's reputation. If not anything, Sai has an astounding sense of loyalty, and is very vigilant, magnetic, realistic, quirky, and a good person to be around.
