Matt was praticeing against a squad of three ninjas the same rank as him.He kept pushing himself until he beat all three of them trying to prove he wasn't a pushover.
Akira walked up behind him. "Boo." She said. She stood behind him. "The General says that the B squad gets a new assignment tommorrow."
Akira smiled. She stepped on his foot, hard. He flicked just enough for her to duck below his blade and draw her own. "As I was saying, the General wants our squad to meet with him tomorrow morning at 7'o clock, sharp."
He spun the the side grabbing her blade and it ended up his blade an inch from her eye and her blade through his hand.
Akira opened her mouth, but shut it quicky. A sly smirk cam across her face. "I'd heard that you had improved, but I had to see it myself."
Akira tried to stifle a laugh, but couldn't help but let it escape. "Dont bow." She said with a smile. "You don't remember me, do you?" She laughed again.
"Sister!" a soft voice called from the trees, but a fear rang through it. The voice was followed by heavy clomps and the crunch of dead foliage under heavy hooves. Eventually, Chouji found the two in a small clearing and came to a halt upon her giant horse, and slid down on the side."Ah! You are here as well Big Brother?" she asked Matt, pulling the horse's muzzle down close to her head.
"Uhm." she looked down at her feet, "OH...it was im- AH! Samurai!" she cried out, then flinched as her voice echoed through the trees. "I-I saw samurai." she continued, "Large, green black and gold armor. Young though, and they seemed to be carrying scarcely any weaponry or provisions, which leads me to believe it is a raid."
Akira cursed under her breath, taking her sword from Matt. "Cho, please take that horse of yours and tell the general." She clenched her jaw. Please don't get hurt during this fight... She thought, praying for the girl whom she had grown rather fond of over the years.
"Matt, if you still can, protect Chouji." Akita said, worried about his hand. She smirked a bit. "Where did you see them?" She asked the girl.
"Matt, if you still can, protect Chouji." Akita said, worried about his hand. She smirked a bit. "Where did you see them?" She asked the girl.
"East, just in front of the sun." Chouji said, mounting the horse once more, "They move swiftly, like a trailing leaf on the ground." She said."I will tell the genral. However protection is not needed for my self."
Akira nodded. "I you say so." She turned and ran into the thicket of trees, heading east. When she heard the sound of armor clanging she slowed to a steady walk. Her feet traveled gracefully over the ground, hardly making noise. She knew that taking this army down by herself would be hard, but she always loved a challenge.
Chouji let out a sharp, short whistle and with a wave to Matt, took off to go find THE tree, where the general lived. She had a hard time finding it, but she eventually did find the tree house and alerted the general. He instructed her to swing around to the far side of the road and wait with one or two ninja if all else failed. Chouji did as she was told and waited half a click down the road. If Akira, and the rest failed, it would be up to her and her two companions to finish this. On her hip she carried a flask of oil, and two flint stones. Fire would be key, Samurai would have much confusion and hopefully fright with flame, unlike ninja, who fear no element.
Then a weakness in the armor would have to be found. Since they were coming from the mountains, she guessed that uppercuts and slits between padding would be weaknesses, but because of the cold, the slits would not be in vital places, only tedious ones. As she thought more and deeper, she got a transfixed expression on her face, which reflected how assured she was this was not going to be a victory to a group of Samurai.
"Princess, we need to take a break!" One of the men said. "Silence!" Rin said, from atop her horse. "We are to close. The battle has already begun."
Akira held one of her few shirukens in her hand. She took a deep breath before hurling it at the leg of Rin's horse. The horse fell, throwing Rin off. Akira ran, not quite as agile as before, but definitely faster.
Rin dismounted her horse and drew her swords. The ninja camp was in sight. "We continue forward. The element of surprise was never ours. We continue with our strength and honor." She got on another samurais horse. The troops continued on.

Matt had stolen a bow from the back of one of the horses he was 35 yards away from the Samurai. He took his aim at the Leader Rin.He breathed calmly and drew back the arrow that had an exploding note on the back of it.He let go and watched it fly about to hit the leader or some samurai.
Sami reared back when the Samurai's horse was hit, but didn't let loose a whiny. Chouji shushed him and then led him back into the trees. Obviously, he was nervous, and Chouji wasn't about to go against a horse's judgement of danger. Obviously, it hadn't been a good idea to voice her thoughts to Akira that it could be a raid. It was entirely possible that this group was simply guarding someone for safe passage. Seeing as she wasn't visibly armed, and looked rather harmless, Chouji straightened herself, got into a side-saddle position and trotted forward to see just what these guys were about. Her "disguise" was flawless, down to her tired expression that made it seem like she had been riding for hours. And her clothing didn't distinguish if she was a ninja, commoner, royalty, etc. What she needed to be VERY cautious about was the encounter.
Suddenly she wished Matt was here to back her up, confirm the disguise by walking at her side, or riding behind her.
The arrow hit the samurai whose horse Rin was on. "Cowards." She muttered, not visibly injured. She kicked her horse in the side who was clearly spooked. It reared a bit but then galloped forward. She raced On, her troops stumbling behind. She wouldn't back down. Not his time.
Chouji flinched when Matt suddenly appearer and Sami paniced and began to kick and jump. Chouji shushed him, but he continued in his state of panic. She yelp when she was thrown for the first time in her life and rolled onto the pebbly road. She sat up and looked forward, knowing she had to get up. NOW. If not, she was going to be run over, or mashed into the ground. Chouji let out a whistle, but Sami wouldn't stop.
Chouji got to her feet and held her hands out, "Ah! Thank you Matt. P-please be careful with Sami." She said, resting a hand on Matt's shoulder, then gently taking the reins.
Rin's troops stormed the camp and all heck broke loose. She smirked and slashed her way to the tree houses. She hardly acknowledged that she was ending people's lives.
Akira got to the camp when the fight was raging on. She slashed at a few samurai, but their armor was strong.

Chouji's head snapped up as she heard the shouts and yells of panic and a sudden out break. Sami reared again, but held still long enough for her to mount him. "Brother... get on." She narrowed her eyes and looked towards the tree, "We have people to protect."
Rin made it to a tree house, ad by the judge of it, the general's. She climbed the ladder. She easily killed the ninja guardian it. When she walked in, the General sat at his table. "Hello. Ive been expecting you." He said. Rin smirked. She carefully walked behind him and placed her blade at his throat.
Akira continued to fight, killing a few samurai, but the ninjas were being overpowered. She was breathing heavily.

Chouji took the two flint stones from one of her many pouches. She tossed them in her hand and caught them mid-air. "Samurai are smart." She said, "But they are cowards." She held her chin high."Matt. If I have ever done anything to make you earn any favor on me, please remember it now." She pleaded
"I don't think you owe me anything."He said walking into camp Killing any Samurai stupid enough to attack him.
BANG!
The fighting ceased momentarily. On horseback rode the Princess and her lady, lead by a gunsman. The shot was fired at a Samurai who quickly dropped dead.
"Princess!" Akira said, fighting her way through the samurai. "What on Earth are you doing here?" She asked. "As if you didn't know." Kimiko said, drawing her sword and charging into a mass of Samurai causing confusion. She jumped off her horse and began slashing through Samurai.
The gunsman started to pick off samurai one by one. Chiharu stayed close behind him.

Chouji found herself utterly confused, and Sami stamped in circles, showing how nervous he was. Eventually, Chouji's eagle glare honed in on the 'princess' who was the center of havoc. Chouji let out a yell and charged torward, drawing a Katana from the holster of her saddle.
"What the h*** are you doing?" Kimiko yelled, lodging her sword in between the blades of Choujis katana. She twisted her sword and the katana fell to the ground. "Where dies your honor lie?" Kimiko yelled, dodging attacks from samurai.
Rin smiled softly. "Any last words?" She whispered into the General's ear. "Too bad." Her blade slit his throat. She looked at the body with disgust. Her sword was bloody. She smirked. "Serves you right."

"The ninja! Not those who cast me out, My Lady!" Chouji yelled, mocking Kimiko with her tone as she rode on to go find the general. This was all her fault! She thought it had been a raid! How stupid could she be?! The general was also unguarded. If he was dead. or imprisoned, Chouji was going to be blamed, or blame herself. She also knew she was officially unarmed, but she rode on to the tree house where the general was.
Kimiko killed a few more samurai, angry at this camp. These ninjas need to be taught their place! She thought, her sword piercing a samurai.
Chiharu and the gunsman were cornered the gunsman fired one last shot before the blade of a samurai pierced his chest. Chiharu screamed. The men were going to kill her. Without thinking, she pried the gun out of the gunsmens lifeless hands and shot the samurai closest to her.
Rin watched the fight from the treehouse. It seemed that the ninja's princess had arrived. Two ninjas were headed for the treehouse. Quickly, Rin climbed out the window and landed on the ground with a soft thud. She killed any ninja that she saw.
Akira continued to fight, but she was starting to tire. Her breaths were heavy and her clothes were stained with blood. She continued to fight until she was practically panting. "Ah!!" She screamed as a sword cut her arm. She slashed the samurai with her good arm. She kept at it, her vision getting blurry. She stopped to feel her cut and only felt something warm and sticky. "Shoot." She said softly, before falling to the ground.

Chouji found the general's tree house, and by the look of things, including the scary freak-show who was mindlessly murdering any ninja who came near her, Chouji's heart let out a scream of anger, which echoed from her lips as she found herself racing towards Rin with rage as her only weapon. Now, there were a few reasons why Chouji was the most difficult ninja to kill. No, she wasn't some buff ninja who would cut down anyone she saw, but Chouji was intensely driven to complete a task once she was set out to do it. And her current goal? Rin's head on a stick by the side of the road. Should Rin underestimate her? Never. Should she OVERestimate the young girl who was already a B rank? Better safe than sorry.
Chouji's clear sense of what she was doing was masked in blood lust for this SINGLE person, and she was NOT going to loose!
Rin block Chouji's attack. Chouji was strong, but her rage made her let her guard down. Rin smirked. A lot of the ninja were dead and she would call this battle a victory. Just after she defeated this girl, her troops would overpower the ninjas. Exactly like she had planned.
Rin fell back, quickly getting back on her feet. She frowned. "Fall back!" She yelled, running for a horse. She quickly mounted a black stallion, kicking it's sides, taking off at a gallop.
Chiharu continued the shoot the samurai, her aim shaky, but hitting them. She flinched at the sound of each shot. The Samurai seemed to be falling back, though.
Kimiko killed another samurai. The others seemed to be fleeing. She sighed and examined her wounds.
Akira lay on the ground, blood beginning to pool around her arm. The gash was deep, and you could see her bone. She was pale and limp, but you could hear the occasional cry for help.

Matt ran over and threw Akira over his shoulder and took her to Chouji."sis take her to the palace and get her fixed up."
"Wait! I'm a healer!" Chiharu called, running after Matt. "I think I can save her!"
Kimiko pulled a sewing kit out of her kimono and tossed it to Chiharu. "I can stitch her up! She won't make it to the palace!". Chiharu said.

Chiharu opened the sewing kit and threaded the needle carefully. She took a deep breath before plunging the needle into Akira's skin. Luckily, Akira was passed out. Chiharu flinched before doing it a second time. She continued to sew the wound.
Kimiko glanced over at Matt. "Are you okay?" She asked, placing a cool hand on his forehead.
Kimiko glanced over at Matt. "Are you okay?" She asked, placing a cool hand on his forehead.
Kimiko studied his face. He's so quiet. She thought to herself. A drop of rain hit her face." We should get inside one of the tree houses... Just not that one." She said, gesturing to the General's tree house. Chiharu had finished sewing up Akira's wound. Kimiko picked up Akira, careful no to touch her cut. "Tommorow we will examine the damage, but Rin will be back." She said.
"She won't survive." Chouji piped up from on top of Sami, and she slid off, guiding Sami with her and came over to Matt, and she stood next to him. She looked up at him and then noticed a small cut on his arm. She parted her lips."Oh, Big Brother, you're cut." she told him and ripped a small strip of cloth from the sleeve of her kimono and wrapped the cut around his muscular arm.
She sighed and looked to Kimiko, "There's only three tree houses, the only one we're allowed into is rather far."
"It's a tree house or a tent." Kimiko said. "And by the looks of it, it's going to storm." She really hoped that Rin was struck by lightning. Chiharu glanced around. Many men were dead or injured. She had to treat them.
Chouji looked around tears welling in her eyes. These were her friends, best friends, teachers, brothers, sisters. She drew in a sharp breath, "Well, unless you FEEL like interrupting the A-ranks meditation, we had better get moving."Chouji mounted her horse, "My lady, I'm afraid we won't have any...comforts for you." she said, her voice harsh, almost...mocking.
"I'll take Akira." she said, holding out her arms, "Brother, can you walk fine?" she asked, not really showing any concern for Kimiko or Chiharu.
Chouji pursed her lips, not really believing him, "Alright. I'm going to take Akira a head. I'm going to the tree house by Torakage Pond." she told him, "And-"She held in a breath then shook her head, "Ah...never mind."
