"Princess Kimiko!" Chiharu called, nervously pacing. Were going to be late! "Princess!" She said again, knocking on the door. Kimiko sighed and walked out of her room. "Yes?" She asked, impatiently. "You have to meet with your father and the Ninja before we set out to meet our protectors tomorrow." Chiharu said, panicked. "Right..." Kimiko said with a sigh. She picked her kimono up so that it her her just above the ankles. "Princess, that's not ladylike!" Chiharu said. "Screw ladylike, I have to protect our country." Kimiko called over her shoulder.

"Miss, there is word that war has started at the camp." A man told Kimiko. Kimiko cursed under her breath. "Get me the fastest horses you can find. And a gunsman." Chiharu began to object, but stopped herself.

Long was looking threw so of her sister's stuff and finding a necklace with a pure white gem that was carved into a fang.She took is from a box labeled White fang but Long couldn't read what it said because of what bad condition on it.She put it on and looked at herself in the mirror admiring herself

Kimiko slowed down and dismounted her horse. A stable boy led it away. She walked briskly through the palace doors and up to her room where she found Long. "Hi sis." She said with a smile. Seeing something sparkle, she glanced briefly at the necklace, doing a double take. "Long, take that off. That necklace is bad luck."

"But why it looks good on me."She said smiling looking at herself in the mirror again.

Kimiko took a deep breath. "I thought that I had that destroyed." She muttered softly. "Long, it's cursed. Take it off. I don't want you to get hurt." She said, her eyes beginning to tear up.

"I'm sorry sis but can i keep it. I won't wear it i just want to keep it."

Kimiko nodded slowley. "I suppose. But the instant something bad happens...." She said, hugging Long. "Just don't get hurt, okay?"

"Ok Sis."she said taking it off and wrapping it around her wrist.She hugged her sis.

"So, what's up? I heard that you were lonely." Kimiko said, assesing the situation strategically. She couldn't find out about Matt. That would be very bad.

I wonder if i should tell her about what i found."Nothing."She said lieing.

"You sure?" Kimiko said, sensing that something wasn't right. "You can tell your big sis."

"Fine i found something with a lot of stuff in it but i couldn't read the label it had fang on it."She said wondering.

Kimiko felt herself pale a bit. "I see....I'm sure it's nothing." She told Long. I have to destroy everything with his name on it.

"What is this Fang name can you tell me please?"She asked looking up at her with puppy dog eyes.

"They are a bad family. Don't ever get involved with one of them." Kimiko said. "Promise me."

"Ok."She said and went to her room.She went to her dresser and pulled out a photo that had been in the box.It looked like the girl in the pic was her and she was wondering who the other people were.She sighed and got in bed and hugged the photo and fell asleep holding the photo.

Kimiko sighed. She walked out of the room and down to one of her advisors. "Please increase the amount of guards on Long. I don't want her anywhere near a White Fang."

She dreamed about what if the people in the photo her real family.

After confirming that Long was heavily protected, Kimiko returned to her room and changed into a silk nightdress. The truce would probably mean that someone important in boh the samurai and ninja would have to wed. She layed down and drifted off, planning her next move.

Long woke up and hid the photo.She turned around as gaurds came in to check on her.

Kimiko got dressed and drank her morning tea, carefully thinking the situation over.

Kimiko sipped her tea, a blend made specifically for her. It smelled of roses. She sighed. A strategic marriage.... She pondered to herself.

Long dodged the guard as he tried grabbing her.She ran to her sisters room.The guard chased her playing with her he tripped when he entered the princess's room and ended up breaking the glass in the mirror and some big shards flew at Long but she did a backspin and jumped and spun in the air and landed softly on a table in a pose with the white fang necklace around her neck.It reminded the Princess of Long mother that used the same move that would have killed her unless Asa hadn't shot her in the back.Long was wondering what had happened."What happened?"She asked.

Kimiko frowned, seeing the necklace. "Are you okay?" She asked Long, shooting a glare at the guard, who bowed his head.

"Yeah."She said needing to know more now."Sis who are my parents?My real parents?"She asked.

"Real parents?" Kimiko said softly. "Mommy and Daddy, of course. They passed, though." She replied.

"Stop lying please tell me?"She asked.

Kimiko shook her head. "You're too young to understand." She said, worried.

She started crying and curled up into a ball.

Kimiko hugged Long. "I'm sorry. Your parents were bad people, so I took you in when they abandoned you."

"Is anyone left?"She asked honestly.

"No." Kimiko lied easily. It would be easier on Long if she didn't know that Matt existed.

"Sister you suck at lying."She giggled.

Kimiko smiled. "I just want to protect you. There are bad people out there."

"I'll be right back."She said and went and got the photo from her room.She went back to her sisters room."Sis are these people my real parents?"She asked.It showed Matt and Alyssa standing next to each other and Alyssa was holding Long in her arms while she was still a baby.

Kimiko nodded. "They left you to die. They were awful people." She said.

"Are you sure?"She asked getting teary eyed.

Kimiko nodded. "I can't believe that anyone would abandon you."

She returned to her room.

Kimiko watched sadly as Long left. "I didn't think it would happen this soon." She murmured softly. She sat down at her desk and wrote on a small slip of paper. Long knows she scrawled on the paper, sliding it into a small canister. She unlocked a birdcage in the corner of her room and removed a dove. She fastened the note securely to it's leg. "Nick." She murmured softly before releasing the bird from her window.

Long quickly packed her stuff and the photo in her backpack and headed for the main door of the palace.

Kimiko sat down on her bed, completely unmotivated to do anything else. She shut her eyes and went to sleep.

"Young miss, where are you going?" Chiharu called, rushing after Long. She had returned with Kimiko, but hadn't had any work since.

"Umm i'm just going out for a bit but don't tell sis."
