Hi, My name is Tammy and I never read a book from cover to cover until Jan 2012. Now I cant get enough of them! I am retired from the Military, and have 3 wonderful children 11, 17, and 24. My husband and I live in the Harrisburg PA area and will be moving to Kentucky in 3 years to finally retire.
I see a lot of my current friends here so most of you know of me. For those that don't I'm Chris, I'm married to a wonderful woman and we have a little boy who is going to be 3 in November. I love to read and at any given time I am at least reading 2 books.
Hi! Thank you, Dustin, for inviting me. I feel like I'm all over GR. My reading taste is pretty much the same way, but I've been getting into reading literature that people give up on, the thick tomes, the tricky words, etc. I'm addicted to them now. *waves*
I know most of you already lol. My name is Janie, I am a maried mom of 3 of the best kiddos ever and 1 awesome grand blessing (boy). My biggest passion is books, and then writing. I love chatting books and life! Thanks for the invite Holly!
I certainly qualify as a bookworm. I've been a reader/writer pretty much since I've had the ability to read. In school, if I forgot my homework or something that was okay, but if I forgot whatever book I was reading that was a tragedy lol. Also, because I read so much (rather than talk to other, you know, actual people) I sometimes embaress myself by misprouncing a word. I've read it a thousand times, but never heard it aloud. Epitome would be a good example haha
Hi I'm Tiffany and I am a young bookworm. I read any book I can get my hands on. I am in a school book club. I love reading so much In all of my free time I read. I love reading stories that my friends write. I will read anything.
I can't believe I have joined another group, but my twin Dustin invited me and here I am. I've been active on goodreads since 2009 and I moderate 6 groups. Yep, this is what I do for fun. Things I do for fun when I actually get out to the house is go the movie theater, work at a chocolate factory, get tattoos and go to the dentist. Last year, I added "Crazy Little Brown Owl" to my name so I wouldn't be confused with the other Dustin :-)
Hello, everyone! Dustin invited me, too. I love books of many kinds, and I love to write. I'm published poems and a few short stories and such. You can read more about me if you want on my author profile. Ever since I was a little kid, my aim was to complete and publish novels. Many barriers both within and without have accosted me, but I'm still plugging away at that dream. This looks like a nice group to discuss books. But I can't take on reading any new books right now because I'm in a college editing class and I have to use my time reading my schoolwork and working on my novel. Even research on said novel is delayed because of the college work. But I like to hang out on Goodreads many nights a week and relax. It has for the most part replaced Facebook as my primary entertainment. I started a blog but am not sure what I want to write in it once I came up with a name. I have some ideas, some of it to re-form some material I had on a web domain long ago, but the writing of the novel itself is more important to me right now. If you have any ideas of what you might like to see in my blog, let me know and I will consider them. At any rate, I'll be happy to chat about my favorite stuff and so forth in this group.I just got back from a costume ball, and I'm still wound up at 2:18 in the morning. Don't know whether I will be getting up at 6:45 a.m. for church, or showing the remains of the words I wrote on myself with color "body markers." It was a fun costume, anyway, being The Illustrated Woman.
Hats off to all you parents here. I know it's hard work, and when you can, it's well worth it to escape into a book. I'm a single mom myself, with one daughter who moved off to Florida a couple years ago. And I live in Oregon!
Hi everyone! Looks like I know most of you from other groups.I'm Courtney, I'm a bartender and mother to two boys, 3 and 5. I've loved reading ever since I learned how, and curling up with a book and a cup of coffee (or glass of wine, depending on the time of day) is my absolute favourite thing to do.
Thanks Dustin for inviting me!

Question: Have you ever ended up being 'friends' with someone on here, and don't remember sending a request?? i have about 20 that i don't remember sending requests too; but i obviously did, because i get the notice saying we are friends..i must be stalking people unconsciously.... bwahahaa
Ummm, another group for me too!I'm Charlene, I live in western MA and I'm an avid reader. I love horror, dark fantasy and all kinds of stuff. : )
Greetings! My name is J. S. Bailey, and I spend too much time online. I lurk on Cincinnati's east side with my oddball/husband and our beloved houseplants. I live on a diet consisting primarily of books, burritos, and Hamburger Helper. When I'm not agonizing over writing, I'm publishing the works I actually finish: The Land Beyond the Portal and Vapors being the current extent of those. I speak broken Spanish, drive a rusting bucket of bolts, and dream of a day when I can overcome writer's block for good. Did I mention that I love burritos?
Hello, I'm Jesse and I'm a university English instructor in New Mexico. Thanks, Dustin, for the invite. Looking forward to talking with you all and discussing books!
