We Read Indie Books RG2E! discussion

Hey folks.

Some of you might know me from my posts and comments at the RG2E website. I've been a member of this Goodreads Group for a while but have been mostly lurking - although I prefer to think of it as skulking.

In fact, even skulking is too high-faluting a word for what I do. Think of me more as that funny-looking black patch that's been growing beneath the edges of the bathtub drain for the last thirty-two years or so.

Just wanted to say "Hey", is all.

I also just joined because of the WG2E blog. I've been looking for a good fit in a Goodreads group. Since I read mostly indie novels, this will hopefully be it.

I'd also like to welcome the new members. This is a great group. Glad to have you aboard.

I just joined. I've been talking with a lot of Indie Authors and I have read a lot of Indie pubs. Like the group description says, I'd like to learn more about this process and, if I can encourage it, help those Indie Authors who's writing I like and help get the word out about Indie pubs that I've read and like, and of course, I'm always looking for new books and writers.

Being new to the group, I had a couple questions. First...since I saw someone on a thread post "thank you for allowing me to join." So, is it alirght that I "joined" without an invite? (Ordinarily I don't worry about that and join with all the finesse of a bull in a china shop, but, I surely don't want to be they guy that crashed the party.)

second: Does this group have board/thread where members share reviews (or links to reviews) that they have written on Indie books or discuss books (nevermind the reviews) other than the monthly reads?

I'm not always the sharpest crayon in the box but I wasn't sure I saw anything but discussion threads on the group reads. (Which is fine too.)
