It's always cold inside of the sewing house, wooden twigs always burning to keep it warm. Everything here is sewn from hand, inside is rows of worn down fabrics that will become the items you need. Their are stumps of wood for chairs in front of creaking tables where the people work all day, going home with raw hands.

Gabriel stepped inside the sewing house and closed the door with his foot. He carried the new fire wood he just cut over to the fire place and tossed a few into the small fire. He hadn't had any big jobs lately since there wasn't much building gong on at the moment so he passed time by doing small jobs like this one.
Serah noticed someone inside the house. She stopped and watched him for a moment before asking. "Do you need some help?"
Gabriel set down the rest of the wood. "No thank you." He said to the girl. He didn't like to talk to strangers, it just got in the way of his work. But, this girl seemed OK. "Actually, I was having a black shirt made here. Do you know if it's finished?" He Said and looked blankly at the girl.
"Oh, so you're the mysterious client." Her mouth quirked upward in a smile. She walked over to the dresser and pulled it out. "Finished this morning."
Kiera was witting in a corner of the sewing house, working on repairing some of the broken tables and chairs. While usually she atcually liked her job, currently she found herself cursing every few secinds. After all, the nails simply refused to hold the stupid things together, and she already had several splinters after about a half hour of work. However, Kiera was deterined to show the mayor up, and prove that she liked this job, and was good at it.
He grabbed the shirt from the girl and gave him his rare half smile. "Thanks, I've needed a new one for awhile." He slipped of his old shirt and let it fall to the ground and then put on the new one. "I have another question, isn't that girl in the corner a builder." He said while bending down to grab the old shirt which he handed to the girl. "Here you can have this if you need the material."
Kiera sighed and put down the wood for a bit so that she could take care of her splinters. You sort of had to feel sorry for her, wearing a black t-shirt and shorts despite how cold the building was. However it was also kind of her fault. However, the task she was faced with wasn't, and it really was unfair. After all, she had purposely been given wood with plenty of splinters, and told she was only allowed to use it to build/fix the furniture.
She glanced back, hiding the blush that rose up when he slipped his shirt off. "Yes, she is. I've seen her around before." She looked at him and accepted the old shirt. "Thanks. It might come in handy."
"I'm Gabriel by the way." He said and made his way across the room towards the other builder. He stopped about half way realizing he hadn't let the girl tell him her name. Not that he really cared much but he new that he had forgot his manners. "Sorry, I forgot to ask your name." He said loudly over to her.
Kiera suddenly noticed the other Torch. "What do you want?" she snapped. The splinters, cold, and her unsuccessfulness had left the girl in a bad mood. Also, she generally found other Torches sort of annoying. After all, all they ever did was mock and looked down on her just because she didn't respect those with authority.

Gabriel thought the "pink haired girl" was just being silly with her remark. Ya maybe he wasn't normal and did forget his manner sometime but he didn't need to be talked to like that, although he really didn't care. He looked over at the builder that just snapped at him and saw her splintered hands. "They should really sand the wood first." He mumbled almost to himself and wen to stand in front of the girl. Taking some tweezers he carried around with him, he grabbed the girls hands with out asking and started to pull out the rather large slivers.
Kiera was about to make a retort about how the person who had given her the task, had refused to giive her any sandpaper, and she had no idea where it was kept, when he took her hands. She was rather shocked that he started to pull out the splinters, or that he bothered to help at all, but for once in her life, she didn't protest. "Thanks," she mumbled, both embarassed and surprised. After all, if her dark way of dressing didn't keep people away, usually her attitude scared them off.

"If I was do you think she'd purposely make me do sometthing like this? That lady is a major b****," Kiera told the Star, not caring who else heard. After all, it was true. The mayor had purposely given her the job of a builder, trying to put her in her place/ However the plan had backfired slightly when Kiera realized how much fun being a builder usually was...
Gabriel felt awkward just standing there with the two bickering. He cleared his throat and moved some hair out of his face. "Erh, I was going to ask, since you are a builder if you would help me with a project." He while shifting on his feet. He wasn't use to this much conversation. Normally he kept to himself and did work alone, but the job her needed down what a two person thing. He said an eye brow at the girl as he waited for her response.
"Why not? I could use a break from this..." Kiera told him, glaring at her current project. It was a fruitless task, and the mayor had known that when she assigned it to Kiera. After all, the wood was too soft, and covered in splinters, so without sand paper or wood glue, Kiera would never get anywhere with it.
"Good, it's back a ways to the center of town. There's a storage house behind one of the structures there. The wood on the side needs to be replaced, but first we have to take the old wood out. It's a risky job because when you take the nails out it makes the latter shake." Gabriel explained. "If you don't have some one to hold the latter then you'll most likely fall, I should know!"
"Alright, so which one of us is going to hold the ladder?" Kiera asked him. Personally she was okay with either job, but she wasn't sure just how well she'd be able to hold the ladder... After all, although she wasn't a particularly small or weak girl, he was larger than her.
Gabriel gave a full out smile to the girl, something he hadn't done in a long time. The question was so obvious and yet he found himself wanting to tease the girl. Something that he didn't normally do. "Why you of course." He said and waited for her reaction.
"But I'm so mu-" Kiera started to protest. However then she realized why he was smiling. So he was kidding... Duh... Kiera thought, ashamed, but trying not to let that show. "You were joking weren't you?" she asked, rheotorically. Then she shook her head at her stupidity. Kiera managed to be so clueless sometimes.
He laughed. "Meet my in the center of town by tomorrow afternoon." He said, then added. "If that's a good time for you of course."
"Fine by me," Kiera told him. She then abruptly leftthe sewing house in search of the mayor. She was determined to give that woman a piece of her mind... Who did she think she was? Bossing Kiera around like this? No one had any authority over her, and Kiera was going to prove that now.(Move to center of town while timeshkipping?)

((BTW! he doesn't know the difference between getting things done and flirting! but don't worry he will learn.))
Gabriel watched as the girl left, once again he hadn't gotten a name. He then crossed the room in a few long strides to the pink haired girl. He used a move that he saw man men use to get answers from women. He gentle tucked some hair behind her ear and then dragged his finger softly along her jawline. "Your name?" He asked her again. From what he know for some reason this mad women smile and lightened the mood and this girl didn't seem in the best mood. so he thought he might try to cheer her up. Because weren't people who talked to each other suppose to do that?

(Lawl... Well, if he tried something like that with Keira... Very scary idea...)
Her eyes blazed with fury and she roughly moved his hand away from her. "My name is my own business."
Gabriel was surprised at the girls reaction. Had he down something wrong? wasn't that how men were surppose to ask women things? "Sorry." He said and looked at the ground. "I'm not used to being around people. let alone girls, so sometimes try to act as most people around here do."
She sighed. "I'm sorry. I overreacted. I'll try and act a little normal." She looked up at him and smiled a little. "Serah."
