Danielle ran from customer to customer delivering drinks and bowing respectfully to the torches. Her actions were accompanied by phrases like, "Here you are, Master *insert name here*" Or "Here's your drink, sir." Once everyone had what they wanted, she enjoyed the few seconds she had to relax.

Mark stepped into to dimmly lit building, taking a moment to adjust to the lighting before he moved out of the way of a couple people. It was a bit crowded, but he knew it was around Jazz's break, and he had managed to get out of work for a while so he could come drop some lunch off for her. "jazz?" He asked, looking around the people.

Jazz was in her usual uniform, short black skirt and a tight white Tshirt which she hated. She was at the other end of the bar talking to one of the other employs before hearing her name. She turned her head andsmiled when she saw Mark, she said bye to her friend and walked over to him "Hey." she said and kissed his cheek "What you doing here?" she said smiling up at him.

Mark's lips edged up, smiling once he caught sight of her. "Figured you'd be hungry by now." He said, offering her the package which contained bread, cheese and meat. "Think you can get off work long enough to eat?"

Jazz took the bag and openednit looking at it before looking up at him smiling with a nodded "Yeah, thank you." she said softly before going on her tip toes and gave him a quick kiss before pulling back "Come on, I know anyplace where we can go." she said with a light smile as she took his hand and led him to the back

Mark smirked, lacing their fingers together while he followed her. "Geez, you seem happy to see me today." he commented, though he couldn't blame her when she lit up his world so much.

Jazz smiled as he did and led him to a room and close the door behind her before turning to him "It's just been a tough day at work." she said softly and jumped on to a table in the room sitting on it before taking out the bread and tore it eating some of it

Mark pursed his lips, he hated that she had to work here with the rowdy drunks always trying to hit on her. But at least it wasn't a day when the new stolen children had been brought it, those days were hell to pay for all the tenders. "Sorry." He murmered, leaning back against the wall.

Jazz shook her head "No it's fine, you know I can hold my own around these guys." she said with a light smile then waved him over here. "Come here." she said softly to him before taking a bite of the meat

"Oh, trust me, I know you can handle them. They don't stand a chance." Mark said with a playful wink before he kicked himself off the wall and walked over to her.

Jazz laughed a bit when he did then gently took his hands into her's "I know you say you don't have time, but what if the Rebels have a chance? What if we actually have a chance to get out of this hell hole?" she whispered to him softly to him

Mark looked away from her, towards the door to make sure no one would come in while they had this talk again. "Look Jazz..." he sighed, looking back over to her, "I just don't think they could do it yet. With everything going on, there's more Torches then ever, more hangings, we are loosing to many people to even have much of a chance."

Jazz sighed and looked down, nodding as she understood before looking at him "I know Mark, but what if we could just...just one of these days. We could be together, maybe even get married and have a kid or two. You want, don't you?" she said gently to him looking at him with soft eyes

Lily was serving up drinks when she notice Jazz had gone. Guessing where she was, she smiled softly and covered the other girl's work as well.

Mark pulled his hands away gentle and stroked her cheek with his fingertips. "Jazz, we will be married if we are stuck here or not, I promise you that. It...it might not be everything you dreamed of, but it will still be a speacial day." He whispered, "Of couse I want things to be diffrent, but now is just not the right time for a war."

"Mark they know its not the time they are not stupid, but it's just I don't want to raise our possible kids in this hell hole." she said to him gently then jumped off the coutner and hugged him tightly "Why did this happen to us?" she said softly as she burried her head into his chest.

Mark wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly. "I wish i could tell you alot of things Jazz, but I just don't know the answers to so many questions." He sighed. He didn't despise it as much as she did. After all, he had been born here, this was all he knew.

Jazz looked up at him "I know, but I wish you could." she said softly then leaned up to him and gently kissed his lips with her's. She loved Mark so much even though she despise this place, she was happy that she met Mark.

Mark kissed her back gentle, caressing her cheek with one of his hands. He pulled away after a moment or two, and leane dhis forehead against hers. "Love you." He said softly.

Jazz lightly smiled at him when he did "Love you too." she said softly then looked at the clock and sighed "We should get back, my break is over." she said softly to him

Lily gave a beer to a particularly cruel Torch. He always hit the Tenders who served him.

Mark pulled his arms around her waist, giving a slight pout. "Well that's a shame, I don't want you to have to go just yet." He said, and nuzzled her shoulder lovingly.

Jazz lightly smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck as he did "Yeah I know I don't like it better then you." she said then kissed him softly before pulling back a bit "We can cuddled or do whatever back at the." she said to him. Her and Mark moved into a loner house together so they wouldn't have to be apart.

"Oh alright, just be carful around the crowds, and don't get into to much trouble." Mark sighed, loosning his grip on her waist, and smiling softly. "See you when you get home." He kissed her forehead and pulled away from her.

Jazz let her arms fall to her side and lightly smiled at him "Alright I'll see then too." she's aid then led him out of the room and back to the bar "Bye." she said softly then leaned up and gave him a soft kiss before pulling away

"Bye." Mark repeated, sighing as he watched her leave to return to her work. He lingered for a few minutes more, watching her. She might have been the only one, in his opinion, who could still look good in their sucky ass uniforms. At last he realized he would have to head back to work to and he quietly slipped out of the Tavern.

Lily shot a smile at Jazz as she came in and then mixed a drink for a young woman

Jazz smiled and walked back to the bar "Thanks Lily." she whispered to her with a light smile and started to give beers to a few men then looked up as she saw Zack entered the Tavern and had a open seat right in front of her.

"no problem," she whispered back. her small, conspiratorial small vanished as she saw Zack.

Zack slipped into his seat, his jaw set as though it had been a rough day. As usaul his whip was tied with a leather strap to his belt, his shoes had left dirt on the floor for the Tenders to clean. he knocked a hand on the counter as he waited to be asked what drink he wanted, parting his lips in a sigh.

Jazz let out a breath and nodded to Lily to before the floor where before he was walking then walked up to him placing her hands on the counter "What do you want to drink?" she said in a bored tone

Zack sat up straight, narrowing his eyes at her. "The strongest you got." He answered, his eyes moving down, kind of checking her out as many of the Torch men did two the female Tenders.

Jazz rolled her eyes and turned around bending down with her ass in the air as she grabbed the strongest whiskey they had a glass, feeling eyes on her before standing up and walked back to the counter and poured the whiskey half ful then placed the bottle down "4 coins." she told him the price of the drink.

Zack let out a whistle as he fished the coins out of his pocket, five instead of four, anf slammed them obn the counter. "Keep the extra." he said, winking at her, "You sure look good in that though. To bad your a rotten Star." Not to mention he was married.

Jazz didn't even flinch as he did then rolled her eyes as she said that "And to bad I won't give you the light of day if I wasn't a Star." she said to him before reaching to get the coins where he placed them.

Zack grabbed her hand when she went to reach for the coins, pinning it down on the counter. He smirked at her, "It's no one's loss." He said, letting go of her hand and picking up his drink, taking a couple sips of it.

Jazz jumped a bit when he did then glared into his eyes as he said that "Agreed." she said harshly as she took her hand away and went to the cash machine (I forget the name) and placed the 4 coins in then the last one in her pocket.

Zack didn't make a move to reply, just gulping down his drink as he eyed a few of the other Tenders and customers. There wasn't many Nappers in the town, most were out on their mistions to bring back more children. The season for the newbies would be soon, however he and a few others were stuck here just in case.

Jazz continued to get orders for men who were staring at her chest and ass, but ignored them all as best she could. She was Mark's as she was going to stay that way, no matter what.

"Hey, babe, why don't you get me another? Hmm?" Zack called out after a while, his voice a little slurred from the acohole, a cocky grin on his lips.

Jazz clenched her fist as he called her babe, she grabbed the whiskey and poured some more "Don't call me babe." she said angrily before putting the whiskey away.

"Don't talk back." Zack snapped, annoyed that she had even thought she got a choice in what he was going to call her, "After all, we wouldn't want a little...accident to happen to Mark, now would we?"

Jazz stopped where he said that and slammed the cash register door before turning back to him, glaring at him with hate "Don't you f***ing dare touch him." she said harshly with her hands on the counter inches away from his face.

Zack smirked a bit, slowly rising from his chair. "We'll see if I dare to or not." he said, picking up the bottle. He took a long swing, gulping the liquode down, feeling the warmth of it travel down his body.
