New school year often means a new book list. What are some favorite new discoveries that you're reading or having your children read?

It's a joy to learn what's on my kids' school reading list. Currently, one is reading Charlotte's Web and the other The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Recently, I read one of the books that my older child will read in school this year: I am David. It was a great read.
