"Well," Maxx says. "At least it should be warm.."

She nodded a little.

Opening the creaky old door he wrinkled his nose at the cloud of dust that greeted him.

She looked over his shoulder,looking inside.All the furniture was covered in white sheets and it was dark.

"Looks... haunted."

She nodded in agreement."Yeah..."

"Let's check it out!"

She stepped inside with him.

Maxx moved through the room, glancing both ways.

She thought he saw something move from the corner of her eye.She turned her head in that direction and saw a door that had opened by itself.

"What did you see?" he spun around.

"The...door just opened."

"What... oh, yeah, did we open that?"

She shook her head.

"Then how... the wind maybe?"

She looked around,searching for any open windows.There were none.

"Hm... strange.."

The door then opened wider.There was a staircase leading up to the second floor.

"Should we go..?"

She bit her lip."Um,maybe we could."

Maxx took her hand and walked towards the stairs.

She held his hand as they walked up the stairs.

"Well this place sure is dusty.." he murmured.

She grimaced when she almost ran into a spider web.

"Careful," he said.

She glanced out the window for a second and continued walking with him.

"Place is pretty creepy," he murmurs.

She frowned,nodding.

He reached the top of the stairs. "Hm.."

She bit her lip."See anything?"

"Nothing really.."

She looked over his shoulder.

"You see something?"

She shook her head.

"Hm, this is odd."

She then thought she heard a voice behind her and turned her head to check.

"What's wrong?"

"I thought I heard something."

"Oh," he said, looking behind her.

She frowned a little,seeing a figure move across the room.

"What the.."

"This place really is haunted."

"This is insane.."

"Maybe we should leave..."

"No, no, I mean, unless you wanna.."

"Just as long as the ghosts don't try to hurt us,I'm okay with staying."

"May as well try, eh?"

She nodded.

"Hello?" he called out
