Eragon is looking a bit lonely, so I'm going to say that I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! This is by far my favorite in the series, even though the beginning is a little slow. Brom and Durza are incredible, Murtagh is in this one the most, and the battle at the end is still my favorite. I think I liked Saphira best in this one, too--watching her grow up was awesome!

Agreed then, we love the charm of this book. But we also, love how it got deeper as the books went on.

Anything we have to say about this book?It did start a lot of my own journey as I know it started others.
Alexis wrote: "Yeah, his story is an awesome inspiration, even without reading the book--although I'm not sure it would have inspired me all by itself, I did tend to respond to things like Eragon more than the au..."Well for me, he made me think that I could publish. He made it all possible for me.
Yes, this one did the same to me too. When I was really sick and din't have anything to do I was so bored I pick up a book.
I know what you are thinking, "of course you did, why wouldn't you?" At the time I wasn't the bibliophile you see today; no, I was an illiterate, dyslexic, unbeliever in books.
Anyway, I pick it up and was introduced to a new world of possibilities. A world of fantasy and adventure, one that I want to be a part of.
Ever since then I have been obsessed with literature, and it wouldn't have been possible without Paolini. It might not be the best book in the world or my absolute favorite but it is the one I needed to read at that time. It was that "one" book made for me, the "one" that I was meant to read, the "one" that changed me, the "one" that that I needed to read to get me hook. There is a "one" for everyone, they just have to find it. I found mine and I owe a lot to it.
You mean the part about the "one?" You think is is true? Or are you talking about my story of how I became who I am today?Really, I am so happy I got a good reception with that. That Intro has been sitting, waiting for me to touch it for about a year now. I have the biginning of the story all plotted out but as for the rest I don't know.
What was is that you liked? More feedback would be nice. :)
The "one" idea is so true! That is a great book for the "one!"Thanks! Actually the series starts after all that stuff happens. I was thinking that if I finish the series then maybe I would do a prequel to it by telling the story of each war.
Anyway, in the series there are two main characters that are forced together by circumstance and don't like each other, initionally. They are actually suppose to be sworn enemies, which leads both of them out to dry because now that they are bonded they have to run from everyone trying to kill the abomination (them)! So basically it is about discrimination and the power of friendship.
You will be the one of the first to proof it then when I am finished with the first. Thanks! Hahaha! It makes me so excited and happy to be writing this! I will write as much as I can so you can read it!
My friend that told me about the books said he hated Eragon. I thought it was awesome. I mean Christopher was only 15, and Eragon is really amazing for a 15 year old to write.
