Hello Whitley. I apologize if this question is too far off-topic. I found Communion and Transformation very fascinating and I now follow your blog. I know that you are familiar with Gurdjieffian teachings and I wanted to ask - do you feel that Gurdjieff's mention (in Beelzebub's Tales) of humans risking becoming 'food for the moon' have influenced ideas you've touched on about the need for humans to develop souls before death? Or is this an idea that you've developed more as a result of your experiences with the visitors? (...or, of course, both/other :)

I think that the food for the moon comment in All and Everything is allegorical. It refers to a decline in freedom after death for those of us who have not really waked up in our lives.
I was active in the Gurdjieff Foundation for many years, and am now working in that manner on an independent basis, because there comes a time when one must be able to self-maintain the double arrow of consciousness.
