Yep! I'm working right now (well, five minutes ago, technically. I stopped to change my pandora station and somehow ended up here...) on the follow-up to my first ebook :)I am kind of worried, though, because I haven't gotten a lot of feedback on that first book and I don't want to repeat any mistakes I previously made in this second book.
(Consequently, if anyone is interested in reading or scanning through the first book, let me know and I'll hook you up with a Smashwords code to get the ebook for free)

Sounds great, Bert. And sure, I'll take a look at your book. What is it's name and what is it about?

It is as special as you make it, Delaney.

Currently I am in the process of writing the Fifth and last book in the main series of Mortal Realm Witch which is currently unnamed, The Second Mortal Realm Witch series Companion called: Mortal Realm Witch: Tales of Young Asantra: The Second Mortal Realm Witch Series Companion, The Third Mortal Realm Witch Series Companion called: Tales of Other Realm Creatures: The Third Mortal Realm Witch Series Companion, The Mortal Realm Witch Guidebook called: The Guide to Other Realm Creatures, The cheap Mortal Realm Witch two story ebook being called: Trillman's Tales, a book collecting short adventure stories, a book collecting short superhero stories that I am currently calling: Heroes United, a nonfiction book about my pets titled: My Pets and Their Lives, a nonfiction book about animal cruelty and animal rescue called: Animals in the Shelters, a fiction graphic novel called: Spider and Jackal which is based on the relationship between my real dogs, a book titled: The Young Animal Psychics, a book of short dog stories, a book of short horse and some cat stories, a book of supernatural short stories, a Christmas book of short stories, a book titled: "Good Luck" Animal Shelter, a book titled: The Dogs That Saved the World, a book of short wild animal stories called: Back to the Wild, a book of short and random animal stories, a nonfiction book with some short fiction stories called: Just Dreaming: Dreams I Had and the Stories They Became, and a second fiction book series called: Animal World featuring two series, Animal World, and Animal World: Endangered. And for now that's it.
By the way, to keep from going on forever I didn't give description on some books and very little on others, but that doesn't mean I won't share that information to anyone that is interested. If you want to know about any of my books, and for the short story collections, about the individual stories, just name the book and what you are interested in finding out about it.
Thanks for sharing, Jennifer!! They all sound equally interesting, especially the real animal-related ones. :)
Julius wrote: "You have a lot of goings on, Jen. How do you manage?"First, to keep things organized I have different binders for each book I am working on. As I come up with ideas for something, I will write down whatever it is as soon as I get the chance then figure out what binder to put it in and which, if any, story it goes to. If the idea doesn't work for a story I currently have sometimes it becomes a new one. Then if it fits into one of my books, it becomes a story for that and if not I get a new binder, or put it in my Random binder, which currently is planned to be a book of random animal stories, with animals that don't have their own group.
Once a book is finished and is in my computer, I then only keep this, send the book to my book manager who is also my editor, then give the binder to my mom who then transfers the book into a different type of organizer where the book will be kept up to date and kept in my mom's room while edits are being made. Then when the book is ready for reviews and beta readers my mom assembles the book for them.
Besides the book stuff I also keep a Blog Binder where I write out different ideas for blog posts, and often write out the post ahead of time and just store it in the binder.
After each of my books has been edited, because I am also a book layout designer which I began after the publishing of my first book, when each book is close to being ready for publishing I take it into Indesign and turn it into an actual book. Then, I do my own drawings (cover and inside)but have a friend who makes my drawings look more realistic so usually I either put my drawing into the book or leave blank spaces to add these as soon as they are ready, because for books, such as my second one, all I need are the drawings and then I can publish it. Book Three now only needs reviews and drawings, as well as my first series companion.
I can't really explain how I can keep track of everything that I do, it's just something I do. I suppose part of it is that I am self published so there is really no rush or time limit to get anything done, except for Indesign projects given to me by other people as my book manager occasionally finds me some jobs, so I just work on whatever I feel like at the time. Usually if I have been watching a lot of animal planet or something I will work on one of my nonfiction ones, or one of the realistic fiction such as Animal World. Sometimes after reading a graphic novel or comic book I will work on the Spider and Jackal book. Sometimes, after reading a book, such as Warriors I end up having too much energy so I will work on one of my hero stories or adventure ones. I used to use Book Four of the Mortal Realm Witch series, but I finished writing that one. I occasionally work on Book Five at these times as well.
Although it can sometimes be hard to decide what to work on and often I end up writing a book that I have plans on publishing later on instead of what I am expected to be working on. Such as when I was writing Book Three I hit a point where I had all the pieces written out but they weren't connecting right so instead of working on this when my book manager was waiting to finally get to read it, I worked on Book Four and my Adventure stories. It only took about four months before I finally figured out what to do about Book Three, but the book came out better because I stopped working on it for a while. Currently, having not really seen Book Four yet, my book manager feels Book Three is the best in the series. I like Book Four best with Five being a close second, and it won't be long before I get to find out what her opinion is on these compared to Book Three.
I very recently updated my website, www.mortalrealmwitch.com to include all the books that will be in print. All the book descriptions are up and contain only very minimal spoilers that I felt were necessary to put in. I was able to avoid giving anything major away.
Phoebe wrote: "Thanks for sharing, Jennifer!! They all sound equally interesting, especially the real animal-related ones. :)"Let's just hope they are as interesting as they sound when I publish them!
Yes, I am writing several things right now one is a novel I am working on and the other is a compilation of short stories about my experiences dog/cat sitting for some crazy animals, I just thought of this idea when I joined a group for writers of animal stories and they had a challenge to write a 250 words or less short story about a picture of a dog and cat looking up at the stars together.
Kylie wrote: "Yes, I am writing several things right now one is a novel I am working on and the other is a compilation of short stories about my experiences dog/cat sitting for some crazy animals, I just thought..."Your pet sitting stories sound like they will be interesting. I used to pet sit occasionally but can't anymore because the last animal I pet sat for I now own.
Jennifer wrote: "Kylie wrote: "Yes, I am writing several things right now one is a novel I am working on and the other is a compilation of short stories about my experiences dog/cat sitting for some crazy animals, ..."Oh yes they have been very entertaining. Some sad, some funny, some weird and all sorts in between, it's an adventure!
I'm in the middle of something. I like writing the titles of my books, before I actually write them. I have these movies in my mind that keep playing day and night. If I don't write them down they just keep playing. Once I write them down then the movies stop playing. Sometimes another movie begins to play right after the other. My thoughts come naturally. Because of my life's experiences I have dedicated myself to writing about anything. The best thing to do is not let anyone try to shut down your thoughts. I learned that very well. One of my latest book is called Raguel. Raguel is an angel and she walks around the city of new york helping others out. She helps them with their problems and eventually gets rid of their problems if possible. The other book is called Fallowville City of the Dead. This story is about two friends that find themselves in a very dangerous situation. It's a zombie horror book. I got a star on amazon and a terrible comment. Like I said before this reviewer is not everyone. Everyone has their own opinion. I like telling the stories. If anyone understands my writing then they get the story. I don't write technical things, because I'm not into science fiction.I think this is what these reviews stand for. I write simple stories. I don't expect much of anything. This is a lot of enjoyment for me. I love writing and photography. This is a lot of work and this is what the reviewers don't know. I do my own book cover designs. I write my own titles and self publish my own work. I'm the photographer of all of my book covers. This takes a lot of work. If I knew it was this difficult I would never begin. It takes dedication and a lot of motivation to have everything ready. You have to be very self disciplined to complete a task and I'm one of those that never stops until a task is complete.
I'm done with Chapter One of Blipping out. You can check it out at http://dollyburke.wordpress.com
I would love some comments - cause I'm trying to decide to keep going or not...

Yes. I am writng a book. It's called ABUSED. I can't post a link tight now, but you can go and look for it.
It's going very well and I'm trying write a script for the story for my own future movie(s).
Oh, so you're going all the way with it. That's good, that's saying that your daring to attempt something grand.
The payoff will be awesome, once you finish it all, though.
Accomplishment is a great bribe for any innovator. :)
Also, best of luck with the scripts! I'm sure they'll end up spectacular!

I love seeing all the different ideas that spark in human brain, unbelievable. Best of luck everyone!
Thanks. I write my own. I get inspirations from Marvel movies.

Marvel has inspired a great number of authors and writers - creators and destroyers.

Even "Crimson Peak" movie has up the inspiration.

It's a horror movie, but I like the vintage mansion with the antique furniture and the characters wearing Victorian clothing.
I hate the ghosts parts.

If you can tolerate graphic ghost with a skeleton body and with creepy sithlord eyes.
And one part is the (view spoiler) part, but I skipped it on YouTube.
So, I'll rate that movie 4/5 because of the other things.
