I read this book years ago and can safely say, I need to read it again. There was a French movie made with best part of this story line involved but it kinda went crap towards the end where as this book just got better and better. Would love to see the movie.

This is, by far, the best Koontz novel I have read. I kept turning pages until it was done, unable to put it down for more than a few minutes at a time. The film with John C. McGinley was a pretty decent adaptation, and McGinley makes a very believable Edgler Vess, but you can't beat the book.

I recently bought the movie off Amazon because I love him in this role and it was a very good adaptation.
