I was SO shocked.... but as a MAJOR fan of the Ledger series I was super pumped to see him in it.... I am wondering what happened to ghost and whether or not Joe will be in more of the Imura novels.

The hard cover of Rot and Ruin(the inside)is covered in Zom Cards. Joe Ledger is one, he was a hero of the first night.

I was wondering about Ghost too but then I remembered that this is 14 years after First Night, not to mention the unknown time between Extinction Machine and First Night. I like to think that he died valiantly saving Joe rather than just old age. Anyway, I think Maberry set up a lot of options for new book series, I would really like to see a Joe and Tom set of adventures!
