What did you think about the book A Northern Light? It had a sort of mystery element to it. Did you think that the mystery was boring or did it keep you on the edge of your seat? Were you surprised by who the killer ended up being? Feel free to ask your own questions about the book and/or post comments here.

Briezie Duncan (OceanBreez) | 5 comments I didn't like the book. I thought it was boring and it didn't intreast me at all. I got confused a lot because the chapters kept changing to different times. Maybe if I would hve read a little more into it i would have liked it better but it just took way to long to get into.

Question for the week of October 17, 2012:
I agree that the book was really confusing! What do you think the author could have done to make the book less confusing? What writing techniques could she have used to make a more cohesive book that would have been easier to read?

Briezie Duncan (OceanBreez) | 5 comments Ithink that maybe the auther could have labled the chapters as past of present so we could tell where we were at in the story. The only thing I can say I truely liked was that Mattie had a special word of the day.
To make the book a little less confusing the auther could have put the past into flash backs so that we know we are in the past. She also could have planned it out better. To me, it doesnt seem like she puy much thought into it.
