((Silver dosen't mind.))"Which one is it?" Scott asked, panting a bit from the distance he had walked carrying Renee, though he kept telling her he didn't mind. Truthfully he just liked them being this close. He glance dup at the row of houses, and then down at her.
(Thanks Silver! :D)"That one..." Renee told him, pointing to her house. She could tell he was getting tired, and was quite angry at herself for forcing him to carry her. However, she liked being close to him, and she didn't want him to put her down. However she knew that it was selfish of her, and began to mentally scold herself. "You can put me down now if you want... It's not that far now..." she told him.
"In a minute..." Scott answered, heading over towards her house. He stopped in front of the door, and carfully lowered her back onto her feet. He snaked an arm around her waist to hold her up just in case she started to get faint again.
Renee found that she couldn't speak, no matter how much she wanted to... Her heart pounded against her chest as she realized just how close she was to him. As she did she wondered if he could hear her heartbeat, as loud as it was. Would it be selfish of me to pretend to feel faint just so we can stay like this? she thought, and quickly decided that it would
Scott opened the door to her house and helped her inside, pursing his lips at the small size. At least the house he shared with two others, soon to be three though he didn't know it yet, had spare room to just walk around in. Here it felt cramped and crowded. He eased her down to sit on her bed before he took a step back. "How do you feel?" he asked.
"Better," Renee told him quietly, unable to look at him, and unsure why. Perhaps it had something to do with her feelings, the ones she didn't understand and had never felt before. Then again, maybe she was simply embarassed about how small her home was. After all, compared to a family home this one barely had any breathing space.
Scott sighed, trying to rack his brian of what he could have done wrong to why she wasn't looking at him. "Glad you feel better...guess I better go then, let you get your rest?" he moved back to the door, and ran a hand through his hair.
"Wait..." Renee called softly, once again looking at him. "Could you... Could you maybe stay a bit longer?" Renee asked, slightly embarassed. However she enjoyed his company, and didn't want him to leaves. Not yet at least... She wanted him to stay as long as possible, as selfish as it was of her.
Scott blinked, then shrugged a bit. He closed the door and went over and sat on the edge of her bed. "And I almost thought you didn't like me to much." He said and smiked, "I'll stay as long as you need me to."
Renee blushed slightly. "Thank you..." she whispered so softly that it was hard to hear. However from her wods it was obvious how much it meant to her. After all, other than her mother, Renee had never had anyone say such a thing to her. However in the end, it was Renee who had been fprced to care for her mother, and she had failed to do so.
Scott grinned, the blush despite her bruise looked cute on her. "I should be thnking you, I don't want to randomly walk around all day." He said, joking a bit.
"Well I'm glad I could help," Renee told him, smiling. She had to admit it hurt slightly, but she didn't care. She was more focused on Scott currently. The way his hair was sort of messy, but it still managed to look perfect at the same time; the way his amazing azure eyes caught the sunlight, and how his grin managed to make her heart skip a beat.
scott laid back a bit, staying at the end of the bed with his legs dangling over the side. "You should still get some rest, wouldn't want you to pass out again." He added.
"Alright..." Renee murmured before drifting off into the peaceful darkness of sleep. While usually she'd find it sort of scary, with Scott nearby she felt somehow safer...(Timeskip?)
((Yepper, yepper, yepppers.))Scott had dozed off after a while, and now he yawned and blinked his eyes open. he felt kind of stiff from his legs dangling, and confused until he remembered that he had stayed with Renee.
Renee, unconsciously sensing Scott awaken, started to regain consciousness. Her eyes fluttering open the first thing she saw was Scott. It took her a few moments, but then she remembered what had happened. How long has it been? she wondered silently.
Scott slowly sat up, rubbing his bright eyes like a little kid might do. After yawning he looked at her, and smiled softly. "Hi there." He greeted softly.
Renee smiled back, her smile gentle and lovely. It was the type of smie that could melt even the coldest of hearts. "Hi..." she replied sleepily. Somehow while other girls might be cranky or unpresentable in the morning, Renee still managed to look as beautiful as ever.
Scott bit his lower lip, his gaze moving down towards her smiling lips, and then there was that thought again. The thought it her lips were really that soft. He pulled his gaze away after a moment, no need to get caught starring. "You seem in a good mood, for waking up that it."
"I'm generally a morning person," Renee shrugged. She couldn't help, but wonder why he looked away. Did I do something wrong? she wondered, but didn't dare ask it aloud. "Any idea what time it is?" she asked curiously.
"Um..." Scott got up and stretched a little before moving the curtain so he could see out the window, "Late evening I guess?" He said and shrugged.
"Do you have to get home?" Renee asked him. She didn't want him to leave, but at the same time she didn't want him to leave... Her heart was torn, but she knew that she shouldn't be selfish. If he had to leave, then she would have to let him go.
"Not for a while. But I thought you said you had to work the nightshift and that's only a couple hours away." Scott pointed out, glancing at her, "I don't need to really be anywhere 'till morning, when it's my shift at the tavern."
"Well I've still got time till then..." Renee said, but still sighed. She knew that after her shift started they probably wouldn't see eachother for a while, and that broke her heart a bit. She wished that Stars were given just a little more free time. However, she knew that was a selfish thought. After all, Timber needed people to do their fair share of work...
Scott smiled a little, then his smile faded into a bit of a frown. "Well if you have to work, maybe around noon we could get out?" He asked, he didn't want to just see her from a distance. He wanted to get to know her, have a chance with her.
Renee's expression brightened. "I'd like that," she told him, with a smile. In fact, she'd love that. After all, knowing that she would get to see Scott again soon, would help her get through any challenges ahead of her, because as long as she knew that she had a meeting with Scott to look forward to, nothing could get in her way.(Maybe some more posts and then timeskip?)
((If you want to))Scott grinned. "Good! I don't think I could survive without having someone to bug." He joked, sitting down beside her. His bangs were stranded over his bright eyes, making him look a little odd.
Renee leaned a bit closer to straighten his bangs. Her touch was light as a feather, straightening his bangs with one fluid motion. Once she finished she drew her hand away and smiled at him.
Scott's lips parted slightly, though he didn't make a noise exept for sucking in a breathe. He blinked then grinned a bit. "Yeah, I should probely get those trimmed." he said lightly.
Although she had moved her hand away, Renee didn't move away back to where she had been before. Instead she foound herself wondering what would happen if she had leaned just a little closer and pressed her lips agains his... However she quickly banished that thought, mentally scolding herself. Instead of doing what she thought about though, she smiled gently.
Scott bit his lower lip a bit, reaching out a hand he touched his fingertips to her cheek, running his fingers down her cheek to her jawline. He pulled his hand away abruptly and tucked both hands together in front of himself as though keeping himself from misbehaving. "Err, sorry. That was a bit akward..."
Renee had felt her heart stop when Scott touched her cheek, and then break when he pulled away. No! Wait, it's okay! she felt like screaming, and immediatly felt ashamed for thinking something like that. "It's alright..." I actually sort of liked it... Although Renee had only completed that sentence in her head, it still caused her to blush slightly.
Scott glanced off, his own cheeks were blazing a dark shade, a tingle on his skin from where he had felt her soft skin. He cleared his throat, still feeling a bit akward. "Well...um...." He muttered.
Finally giving in to her impulses, Renee leaned closer to him, and kissedhim. It was a gentle kiss, reflecting very much on her personality, but it was full of longing and passion... For a while Renee just stopped thinking, and let herself be selfish.
Scott's eyes widened slightly for a few seconds before he let his eyes drift closed and he kissed her back, his hands sliding up and caressing her cheek.
Renee continued to kiss him, her emotions swirling. Honestly it was the perfect first kiss for her... Not that she had ever really imagined her first kiss. Although Renee, like many other girls, had often dreamed of finding love, she didn't let herself indulge in fantasies too much... That would be a waste of time, as well as selfish.
Scott could hear the thumping of his heartbeat in his ears, suprised by the heat involved in the kiss. He hadn't exauctly kissed many girls, maybe a few, but none of them seemed to compare to the feeling of her kiss. He drew back a little to catch his breathe, his bright eyes gazing at her delicate features.
Renee's heart was beating so loud she swore he could probably hear it. When he pulled away, though, she was suddenly hit by the realization of what she had done... "I-I'm sorry," she apologized softly, feeling extremely guilty. After all, she had just went ahead and kissed him without warning... ith a garuntee he actually liked her.
Scott chuckled softly. "I'm not." He mumbled, and gave her lips a soft peck of a kiss before he sat up a little straighter and smiled. There was still faint traces of a blush against his pale skin, a new gleam of light in his eyes.
Renee looked at him, surprised. Then she smiled. This smile was different from the other times, it was more... Complete, somehow, like she had found a new type of happiness. However, in the back of her mind she found herself wondering if it was strange to kiss someone that was a complete stranger...
Though they didn't seem to have a problem smooching each other, Scott still seemed hestitant about touching or coming to near her. After a moment's puase he moved his hand to her cheek once more, stroking her cheek with his thump. He smiled softly back, seemingly relaxed.
Renee felt her heart flutter when he stroked her cheek. For a while, she had forgotten all the negatives emotions and things in the world ever existed, and was soley focused on Scott. However, suddenly a thought crossed her mind. "I have to go to work..." she mumured, obviously disappointed. However, she knew that coming late was not an option...
(She should meet him and his sister together sometime...)
((Sure))Scott let out a small sigh, dropping his hand away. "If you want I could walk you, I guess I should head back before Mia comes hunting me down anyways." he said, his smile had faded and his head was slightly tilted to one side.
"Could you?" Renee asked with a hopeful smile. She generally found herself eeling better when he was near... Although she wasn't quite sure why. Is this what love feels like? she wondered.
"If you want me to." Scott replied, slowly standing up and stretching out again, "But we better get going."
(Wanna have this be the last post and then next have them meet the next day in some other topic?)Renee smiled, and stood up too. Then she quickly pecked him on the cheek before leading the way out the door and to the Treaters House. Unlike Torches, Stars didn't really have to bother about locking their doors. After all, Torches didn't need their shabby stuff, and other Stars didn't have enough room to put it.
