Role Play Time! discussion

Dennis walks down the hallway towards Math. He speeds up. Out of all his subjects, he loves Earth Science and Math the best.

"You think Braydon got detention?" Emilie asked no one in particular.

Taylor, who waited for her, answered. "Well, yeah. He was late 10 minutes"

"Ya but he has never been late before." Emilie countered.

"So? If you commit a crime, but you've never committed a crime before, you'll still end up in jail!", Taylor persisted.

"That's a bad analogy, you should know that." Countered Emilie, getting a bit annoyed.

"It was not a bad analogy", Taylor protested. "Fine, how about this analogy? If you do something bad in school, you have to go to the principal, even if you've never done anything bad before!"

Emilie turned with a swoosh of her hair, and said,"Fine, don't be supportive."

"Ugh, when will Braydon get here?" Emilie complained.

"There he is", Taylor replied, nodding in the direction of the hurrying Braydon. "I really have to go, Emilie. I'll see you tomorrow", she said, checking her watch.

"Bye Taylor" Emilie yelled to the figure running out the door. Emilie turned to Braydon and stopped right in his tracks. "Hey Braydon" Emilie said with a million dollar smile.

((Really? 'a million dollar smile'? :P))

"I was waiting for you."

Emilie wore a look that sarcastically said she was making a big decision. "Are you playing." She asked

"No, I'm not playing." Emilie weighed her options then said, "But that doesn't mean I won't go." Then hurried to add, "You know, I'll go if I have a reason to go."

"Braydon, I'll see you the gym at five. Alright?" Emilie could feel her face turning red but she didn't try to hide this time.

Emilie smiled, "It's alright, I'll find a way of getting here. So see you later then?"
