I play the violin, rock climb, hike, kayak (basically all outdoor stuff not really sports), and I go to Anime Club which is tons of fun

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

At my school there is Math Olympiad, Odyseey of the Mind, and a lot of other things, but I don't really want to join any of them.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

Haha, I'm the youngest out of 4 kids, so they would take turns babysitting me :p

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) I just recently started volunteering at the library.
I have to shelf the CHILDREN'S SECTION and let me tell you this...
THIS CHILDREN'S SECTION IS IN CHAOS!
I only have to work 2 hours but I come up feeling
(and looking) like a zombie.

message 13: by [deleted user] (new)

that would be awesome! even though I don't think i'd want to look and feel like a zombie xD

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) I just wish I could work in the Teen section...

I'm starting to look forward to working at the library now...
it's become a challenge in my mind to shelve all the books in the "to-be-shelved" cart XD
Everytime i'm almost done with it more books come in!!

Allie | 457 comments I run cross country and track, I swim and I also play the trumpet. I wish I could to other sports but I'm so not coordinated enough to play them >.<

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

I admire everyone who can do cross country without fainting. In field hockey, we had to run a mile every week and afterwards I wanted to die. And now that I'm doing basketball, we do suicides and sprints all practice. It's terrible. So yeah, I could never do cross country.

message 23: by Allie (new)

Allie | 457 comments Cross Country is really fun. It's my favorite sport out of the ones that I do. (Which really aren't that many) I was the fastest girl on the middle school team (since I'm going to high school next year I'm using past tense) and it's really fun. I was the only girl in my grade to do it all three years. And in all we only had like at most 8 girls on the team. This year we only had like 5 which is the number you need for a whole team. I mean you can have less you just get team points if you have five runners or more.

message 24: by [deleted user] (new)

I wish I could do it. I'm a fast enough runner but can't run distances. I'm only good at short sprints.

message 25: by Allie (new)

Allie | 457 comments Complete opposite of me. I suck at short distances XD

message 26: by Erin (new)

Erin M. (siriusyareader) | 157 comments I do cross country but I'm not fast. I'm just your average runner. I run for fun:) I also do distance track which I don't enjoy nearly as much as cross country. Haha. Cross country was amazing... And it's over... Until next year:)

I also have four siblings (3 younger than me), am writing a book, just started a book blog, read a ton of ya, take hard classes, and try to fit in a social life... Haha.

WHAT?!?!? I don't think our school would be allowed to do that... The clubs don't bother anyone and it's not like it needs to be funded or anything... What right do they have to say there can't be an anime club? We're a pretty big group at my school, probably one of the bigger clubs (sports teams not included) but we're probably also one of the most lesser know clubs. Most if the students probably don't even know we HAVE an anime club (it 1/2 of the other school clubs or that matter haha)

Wow I'm glad u got more members! Last ear our club had like 10+ members and I was the only newbie! But this year so many new people joined the club at LEAST doubled in size. It's odd not having the same tight group but it's nice having all the new people :D

Anime definitely gotten more popular over the past couple of years :D I hate when people judge and say they don't like it when they've actually never watched it! I get the 'big eyes' is sorta weird but that's stereotypical! A lot of Animes aren't even like that at all

And there's all types of genres for anime just like tv and movies so anyone could find something perfect for them, they just don't give it a chance :/

OMG yay! I'm not the only Cross Country runner here!!!!! I kind of wish I was an average runner, everyone expects so much out of you and when you fail its the worst feeling in the world because everyone is so disappointed in you, which makes you feel worse. I hurt myself a lot this season so I had a lot of that feeling this year.

message 38: by Erin (new)

Erin M. (siriusyareader) | 157 comments Yay haha :) I had a blast last season because my team has some of the best girls in the world on it! They're so amazing! However, we got a new coach. And she mistreated us... Big time. Our season ended... Miserably because of her... And she ended up being fired. So yeah. In the end I did have a blast, I just wish I had a different coach. Anyway, don't beat yourself up. If you ever do bad, just remember there will be more races and you can do better at the next one :) I'm sorry you hurt yourself. Hopefully you'll feel better next season :) (Btw, and I know I'm ranting now but because of my coach pushing my team so hard half the girls got injuries...)

message 39: by Allie (new)

Allie | 457 comments I loved my coach! He's soooooo funny! He was like the only one who wasn't disappointed in me! hah he's an amazing coach! And that's awesome that you have such good girl runners on your team! Next year I'll be going to high school and (if I can run still) right away I'll be either the fastest or one of the fastest girls on the team! So I hope my knees aren't too injured and I can run again.

message 40: by Erin (new)

Erin M. (siriusyareader) | 157 comments Ohh... Maybe you should get physical therapy. Yeah, my coch last year was amazing but then he retired because he's old. Yeah, I'm on the high school team:) It's amazing that you're so fast! I'm sure you'll get better. You might have to wear a knee brace for a bit, though. Hopefully not!

message 41: by Allie (new)

Allie | 457 comments Yeah I have a doctors appointment this week so I'm gonna ask about my knee then, hopefully I won't have to stop running.

Alyssa I play piano but I hate it so that doesn't count really. For clubs, I'm in a photography club, cooking club, some community service clubs and this club where we watch British comedies...I joined a lot of clubs xD

I hate piano too! And my mom totally knows it. Nonetheless she still makes me do it >.<
