Isabella | 154 comments Ugh, Elva! I cringe at the very sight of her name! I'm not going to fault anyone for liking her, but she just really, really isn't for me.

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments She was anticlimactic? Dang, I was hoping for big things from her!
I liked her. I thought it was a smart character addition by Paolini.
Why didn't we think of her sooner?

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments A very depressing character if you think about it.

Yes, very depressing. She was an awesome add, though, and I really liked the twists to her personality and story; I was a bit skept..."

Good, I have high expectations!

I totally thought that Elva was going to turn out as a "bad guy" when she flounced out of Nasuada's throne room saying that she would do what she wanted, but no, she stays relatively on the good side.
Elva added interest and more plot than just Galbatorix to the story, and I want to look like her. Long raven black hair, pale skin, and violet eyes? Yes please.
Her story is sort of depressing, but I like it.

Cole (spectyr333) | 458 comments She does have depressing story. But honestly I expected her to do more in the story. Maybe in other books she will.

Elva was weird and stubborn and annoying. I mean she had this cool gift/curse but her attitude and everything annoyed me. Like the way she refused to help the Varden and save millions. Roran hated killing but he did it to protect and to help people! I mean if u can imagine feeling someone's pain itd b terrible. But she was so annoying and stubborn.
