message 2: by Jocelyn (new)

Jocelyn (joc113) | 2640 comments Obama all the way. Abortion is someone's own choice, and Romney/Ryan are idiots not to believe so.

message 3: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments I'm not even American, but if I was I would vote Obama. All of Romney's proposals would only benefit the upper class. He even wants to tax the middle class in order to cut taxes for those earning over 1 million a year (or something like that, I'm not totally sure).

Plus, he doesn't support gay marriage OR abortion, so that's definitely a deal breaker.

message 4: by Mel (new)

Mel | 1820 comments Yupperdoodles. I'm not really that caught up in politics, but yeah, Obama's got it right.

message 5: by Cami (new)

Cami (camikittr) If I could vote, I would 100% vote for Obama. Like Ducky said, abortion is someone's own choice. I won't judge anyone who votes for (or would vote for if they were old enough) Mittens (my mom calls him that), just so you guys know. Who's watching the debate tonight? (Not me, but my parents are).

message 6: by Mel (new)

Mel | 1820 comments Same. I'l be reading...

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) | 4919 comments I NEVER pay attention to politics.
Politics both annoy & bore me...

What everyone else said. XD

message 9: by Robin (new)

Robin | 5442 comments I never got involved with politics
'cause they always brought out the worst in my folks
But I always swore to them if I could make a change at all
I'd love this world before it implodes

message 10: by Mel (new)

Mel | 1820 comments Yeah, my parents will have these long discussions about who did this and who did that... Meanwhile I'm trying to drown them out and do a writing exercise.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, I actually find it somewhat annoying.
Except for the BLR videos of Romney and Obama. Those are priceless.

Mel | 1820 comments YES!!! I DID IT!!!! *feels accomplished* As you can see, I have no life...

message 19: by Fran (new)

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments My biggest problem with Romney is his views on energy. He keeps saying that he wants to become energy independent but he doesn't want to spend any money on it. He also is saying that we need more off-shore drilling and coal mines to make more jobs and stuff, when we should be hiring people to research wind and solar energy. He wants to put in another pipeline because we need more gas when the truth is gas prices are going up because less people are buying gas because we have more energy efficient cars.
Oh, and his 5 point plan... You know that one that's a big secret?

message 20: by Jocelyn (new)

Jocelyn (joc113) | 2640 comments Which one?

Okay, WHAT is that? It's a little kind of a lot extremely weird...

message 22: by Cat (new)

Cat Alright it seems like every one here is up with Obama and down with Romney and I just have to say...
I'M WITH YOU ALL THE WAY :)
But seriously I'm not even american, and can't tell you squat about my own countries politicians or politics in general, but even I think that Obama is the right option here.
I am actually catholic, (don't judge on this next part, because I am a really lazy catholic), and on subjects like abortion I fully support that it is the person's choice whether to go through with it or not. Also it's the same for me with subjects like gay marriage. To say any of these are wrong is to take away a person's right to free will. I'm not even going to get started on other issues...

Mel | 1820 comments XD XD XD IKR?!!! XD I'm obsessed with Bad Lip Reading!!! XD XD XD

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) | 4919 comments I love the Bad Lip Reading videos! XD

It reminds me of when I used to put the TV on mute and make up my own story for what they were saying/doing...

message 31: by Mel (new)

Mel | 1820 comments My dad did that when we were sitting in the parking lot of B&N once. There was this guy trying to drag his little kid into the store, and the kid kept struggling out of his arms and throwing his shoe and stuff. My dad rolled the window up and made up what they were saying. XD Hilarious. XD

Jessica (Goldenfurpro) (goldenfurproductions) | 4919 comments I used to do things like that with children's books too XD
I would ignore the words and make up my own story based on the pictures. The stories wer usually funny XD

message 33: by Mel (new)

Mel | 1820 comments XD YES! I did that all the time! Especially with Curious George. ;D
