Personality: Headmistress Raine may seem demanding and mean at first, but on a closer look, she's very nice. She treats all students equally, even if they aren't water benders. She's a quick thinker and not one to miss a beat. Sometimes she gets impatient, but for the most part she's pretty patient. (She has to be, she's got three teenagers of her own!) She is very brilliant, and when she was in school was always at the top of the class.

History: Eleanor's mother died when she was young, and so she grew up with her dad. She barely remembers who her mom was, and so she can't really miss her. When Eleanor was 14, her father got cancer. A year later he died and she was an orphan. With the element of water. Her chances of survival alone were next to nothing, but someone she learned to love helped her. Later she married him and had three kids. But her life's sadness wasn't over, because soon after the last kids were born, her husband died. She was heartbroken and alone with three kids this time. Eventually the kids went to school and she met with more people everyday, and then she met the other three founders of the school and helped found the school.
