I didn't expect people to find and join this group on their own, but I'm glad we have a few members now. Hi, everyone!

Please feel free to introduce yourselves and to recommend a book. Also, take a look at our bookshelf and free to add your own favorite sefarim.

Steven Schwarzman | 1 comments Hi, all. Just joined the group.

I'm a rabbi and would like to introduce my new book, Shma Koleinu: A Jewish People's Commentary on the Siddur. It's a collection of personal reflections from rabbis, cantors, and ordinary people on specific prayers in the siddur, and I have to tell you that these reflections are powerful. I hope they will help inspire you in your own prayers.

Mordechai Housman | 1 comments Hi, I just joined Goodreads, and came here because I was hoping to discuss the parshah with people here. I recommend the Sapirstein Edition Rashi: The Torah with Rashi's Commentary Translated, Annotated and Elucidated, Vols. 1-5 Box Set, Full Size : Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy. I study it almost daily, certainly weekly.
