Kenneth Geary (KagedBooks) (kagedbooks) | 81 comments Ok so after he defeats the three bloodknifes (because apparently he is the most amazing swordsman ever, even though Mat beat him and Galad at the same time) sorry getting off track. So after he kills the bloodknifes he takes their Ter'Angreal, Do you think he will end up using them?

Ben | 113 comments i think the rings were connected to the bloodknives so im not sure that he could use them.

also i completely agree gwan is a great swordsman (he beat sleet multiple times) but to survive 3 of the seanchans greatest terangreal weilding assasins in the dark simultaneously? even if he did manage to pull it off he should have died at the end of that scene. it would have been a fitting ending for his character.

Jenny (gielske) | 40 comments Using those rings means commiting suicide. Remember when Tuon blessed them before setting out for tar valon?? I don't think Egwene would be pleased if he did that...

Ben | 113 comments very true i had forgotten the flip side of using those. well at least he has some badass trophies to scare seanchan with.

Kathryn | 32 comments Does Gawyn know that using them will cause suicide?

No he doesn't.....would have loved to see gawyn face rand when he had both his hands.

Kenneth Geary (KagedBooks) (kagedbooks) | 81 comments i could see him using them to save Egwene at the last battle. i'm pretty sure the ceremony is not actually needed to activate the rings just had to drop your blood in them. Imagine what would happen if he wore all three

Jenny (gielske) | 40 comments I don't think he'll activate them, unless something happens to Egwene and he goes in a warders death rage. But I do think the rings will play a roll in the negotiations with the Seanchan. Mat won't like hearing his wife flew 5 assassins over to kill one of his boyhood friends, amyrlin or not.

Yep. of all the people, Mat could turn pretty nasty- especially if it is about people he cares about. He might whine and complain. But when it comes to friends- nothing stops mat.

Coming to think of it, For Perrin, it is love. For Rand, it is duty. For Mat, it is friends. :) Nice. :)

Ben | 113 comments i hadn't even considered mat's reaction to the bloodknives. of all the couple squabbles that we have seen in the series this one between mat& tuon could be epic.

Jenny (gielske) | 40 comments Mat = Loyalty
